Selling half interest and full possession. Every year Dad and I try to come up with something off the chart to be Lot 1. Wellthis year is no exception. In all the years the Harvest of Excellence has been in exis-tence we have never offered a bull. When Swag was born we knew he was special. Notonly is he a full sib to the Lot 1 from last year that was shown so successfully, but heis truly a good beast. No matter what you would want to do with him, make females, raise show steers, we believe he can do it all. He has that added mass, power, and body, combined with a great look and structural correctness that we all strive for. This willallow him to sire those high sellers that make you want to stay in the cattle businessand make you famous on the blogs. I would like to think as a family we have been lucky to bea part of many great show heifers and awesome cows.Maybe I am crazy but Ms Rockn’ Ace was and is myfavorite of all time. When she was a show heifer she wascrowned ChiAngus junior national champion and champi-on of the chiangus junior show at the NAILE. I think themain reason I love her so much is that everything came easyfor her. She was and is so easy fleshing, always had the shagand loved to be a show cow. Now as just a three year old inproduction I think you will find that her ability to raiseoutstanding show heifers comes really easy as well. To methere is nothing better than looking at good cattle andwhen I was at Rockn’ J Ranch getting our ET babies theones out of the ACE blew me away and the crazy thing isthey are getting better by the day. It is fun to be in the cat-tle business when a cow works this good to a variety of bulls. Thanks Jerry and the Rockn’ J crew for being a part of this breedchanging female.
the ACE daughters ...
I am not sure there is such a thing as a perfect mating. I know it’s a big state-ment but I feel we are close with these three.Lot 4A, Talk about a freak. This female is so good in every aspect. She fits allsections of the industry with her look and balance, structural soundness andpower and body. It’s hard for me to imagine one being built any better than sheis. Not to mention she knows she is good. This one gives me chills thinkingabout her in the show ring, not only at the jackpots but at the national level. She’s got what it takes to win them all and most importantly become a donorfor the ages. I know you will be as excited as I am when you see this one.

The oldest one of these three outstanding sibs is one to reckon with as well. Theextension she has is out of this world. Her muscle pattern for a female is out-standing and I know I am getting repetitive on these three but what great showheifer and brood cow in the making.

The next two Ace daughters put a little different twist on things. I know for somepeople you say Heat wave and they run away but I promise you these are two ofthe most functional females you can find no matter what they are sired by. Theseare the kind we mate Who Da Man and his sons, along with other maternal bullsto make those big time show heifers that everyone craves. Both of these femalesare great structured, big bodied and still have an awesome look. It will be fun tosee them both progress. Don’t miss a great opportunity here.

As proud as we are of the Aces ET babies we are equally as proud of her natu-ral Monopoly. In just a few words power, power, power sums this one up. Whata cool look she has as well to go with all that body and mass. This one will flatbe fun no matter what level of competition. Of all of them she is the most likeher mother, she loves to be a show cow. Big haired and easy fleshing is certain-ly not a problem for me. Who ever owns this one sale day will have a blast.

Maggie has been certainly one of our favorites from birth. Just ask My Dad heloves her and she is certainly spoiled. This powerful April female is so massive, big bodied and sound it’s scary. As you will be able to see this mating betweenMonopoly and Who Da Mans full sister worked extremely well. This female isready for the ring no matter where it might be. This one will be a lot of fun.

Well this footnote could go on forever when you are talking about a female thatis bred like this one is. There are numerous full sibs to this female that havedone a lot of winning. Obviously there is a lot of consistency in these genetics. With that being said Carly is one of kind on her own. Great looking andextremely well balanced from the tip of her nose to her tail. Her combinationof power, soundness and femininity is somewhathard to find. Thanks for your confidence in ourprogram again Dan, this one is going to be fun.

Reserve Champion Chianina Female, 2011 Iowa Beef Expo and a full sib to Lot 7. Purchased by Dunk. Shown by Kale Spengler.
It was two Kentucky Beef Expos ago when Dad and I wandered over to the Chisale. We knew there were some Who Da Man eggs selling and thought wewould check it out. Well we bought those eggs that day and we certainly madea good decision. This female is extra special to us. Her great look is one thing, but when you combine that with an unbelievable skeleton, mass and power itmakes her big time. Something we recently found out that makes her even
more of a unique potential donor is Hot Like Me her mother isTH free. So that makes this female Free by pedigree. What abonus.

This red brockle female is certainly an eye catcher. This is a hard one to sell forus. Not only are we a sucker for awesome colored ones, but this heifer is amaternal sib to Who Da Man. She is stout in every area. Wide structured, heavyboned and massive, with a cool look easily sums this one up. Think about thedonor potential here. She is backed by truly a great cow family.

What an unbelievable maternal pedigree this one has. Everyone knows how theWho Made Who’s turn into great cows. Think about this one on the bottomside as well. Her mother was the 2010 Chiangus Junior National Champion aswell as being Reserve in Louisville for Hannah. This heifer was built to be adonor from the word go. Other than her pedigree this is one easy to look at, she
is well balanced, sound, functional, beef cow. In mymind she will show at any level but I would say hermost value will be in production. Have fun whenyou mate this one; the possibilities are endless.

There is no doubt of any in this year’s offering this female is the most royallybred. What a breeding piece when you start thinking of how many dollars hermother has generated for Sullivan Ranch over the years. Not to mention she isa Sooner and in the Maine Anjou breed that’s the top of the line. With all thatbeing said, Carmen is that good. Her balance, look, and femininity are superb.I think the thing that appeals to us the most ishow great structured she is. It all starts at theground, big feet, flat jointed with a perfect setand slope of off both ends. What a female, thanksDan for letting be a part of this one.
