WOODLAND INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL WEEKLY NOTES May 31, 2017 Please note that Friday, June 2nd, is a full day of school for Woodland Intermediate students. On Wednesday, June 7th, 5th grade will be going on a field trip to Calumet County Park. On Thursday, June 8th, 6th grade will be going on a field trip to Skate City Roller Rink. Thursday, June 8th, is the last day of school. There are a limited number of Woodland Intermediate yearbooks available for purchase for $14.00 each. These will be sold on a first come, first served basis. Please send in exact cash or make checks payable to Woodland School. Thank you! During this last week of school, certain areas of Infinite Campus become inaccessible to parents. This allows teachers to oppor- tunity to enter student grades and create the progress reports. You will be able to access your child’s report card on Infinite Campus at the end of the day on Thursday, June 8th. Please note that when reviewing your student’s report card, teacher com- ments do not show up in the portal when looking at the main Grades screen. They do, however, if you access the Reports screen. From there, you can generate a report card in pdf format that will have all the comments. Also, the key explaining the report card codes is located at the top portion of the report card. If you need to set up your parent portal account in Infinite Cam- pus, please click here. Please contact the school office at 730-0924, option 2, if you have any questions regarding this proce- dure. Spring MAP Testing - Woodland Intermediate students have finished their Spring MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) test- ing. Results were mailed home to parents, along with a letter providing additional information. There is also a MAP information sheet attached with information about MAP testing and its uses. Save the Date: Grade 6 will be going to Camp U-Nah-Li-Ya in October, 2017. The classes of Mrs. Lau, Mrs. Bergmann and Mrs. Wesoloski will be going on October 2nd. Students of Mrs. Heinz, Mr. McGregor, and Ms. Price will attend on October 9th. Watch for additional information in your summer mailing. As the end of school draws near, we are in the process of donating the lost & found items to a local charity. Please remind your child(ren) to check the lost and found bins in the cafeteria and down their grade level hallways for any items they may be miss- ing. Thank you! The Woodland School office will be open throughout the summer. Hours will be 8:00 am until 2:00 pm, Monday through Thurs- day with the office being closed on Fridays. Normal office hours will resume on August 21st. Please remember to take care of any negative lunch balances on your child’s Chartwells account before the end of the school year. You can log on to Infinite Campus to access the account and pay the balance or send payment to the Intermediate office. Thank you! The Woodland Outdoor Classroom is a beautiful setting for students during the school year. We are looking for help throughout the summer to help maintain this wonderful space. Please note that Friday, June 2nd, is a full day of school for Woodland Intermediate students.
