AmSouth Bank at Avondale

The Sembler Center

St. Petersburg, Florida—When The Sembler Company began to experience phenomenal growth and were in dire need of a larger, more suitable headquarters they chose Hawkins Construction as their contractor. Hawkins had previously delivered several quality projects to Sembler and they were confident that we would meet their aggressive schedule and budget. Hawkins exceeded their expectations and with extensive value engineering delivered an exceptionally high quality facility on time and within budget. This award winning building continues to serve The Sembler Company’s corporate hearquarters.

Progressive Insurance Claims Office

Houston, Texas—Progressive Insurance, one of the largest auto insurance providers in Texas and the nation, chose Hawkins Construction to build this new multimillion-dollar Service Center in Houston, Texas. This center is part of Progressive’s growing network of centers.

AmSouth Bank

Florida - Between 2003 and 2005, Hawkins Construc-tion completed over 100 AmSouth Bank Projects.

Crum Services Corporate Campus

Clearwater, Florida —This challenging downtown Clearwater redevelopment project encompassed 14 acres of previous-ly under-utilized property. The development included two, three-story, fully built-out office buildings. The first building had two reinforced masonry with brick veneer stairwells located on each end of the building. Finishes ranged from the cafeteria vinyl composition tile to the executive maple wall paneling and granite.

This 139,000 SF campus includes offices, conference facilities and a cafeteria that are accented with marvelous land-scaped green space including world class sculptures, and fountains. Hawkins completed this project in 18 months, which was ahead of schedule and under budget.

Chase Bank

Florida - Since 2010, Hawkins Construction has completed twenty-three Chase Bank proj-ects.

Orion Center

Fort Myers, Florida—This three-story, tilt-wall, 52,448 SF building includes administrative offices, classrooms, lab training facilities and lecture rooms.

Heritage Institute offers programs and degrees for careers as in X-Ray Medical Technician, Medical Assistant, Massage Ther-apist, Esthetician, Surgical Technologist, Personal Trainer, Pharmacy Technician, or Cosmetologist.

Quality was monitored daily during the construction process. The Class “A” Level 5 finishes included marble floors, 8’ high oak doors with fluted casings, wood base moldings, and wood crown moldings which were installed to exacting standards.

Florida Building Code 304.1, Educational Occupancies above the 12th grade, were used in construction of this facility.

Fifth-Third Bank

Florida - Since 2006, Hawkins Construction has completed Thirty-Eight Fifth-Third Bank projects.

VF Imagewear

Tampa, Florida - Hawkins Construction built this manu-facturing factory which is now used by VF Imagewear, a wholesale apparel company that provides quality in-dustry-specific products such as uniforms and market-ing apparel. VF’s factory is located on Linebaugh Ave-nue can be clearly recognized by its stadium-design and bleachers overlooking the building.

Florida - Since 2004, Hawkins Construction has completed over seventy Regions Bank projects.

RBC Centura Bank

Hernando Times Headquarters

Brooksville, Florida—The St. Petersburg Times, Hernando Publishing Headquarters presented a unique opportunity to combine executive offices/operations and distribution into one special-use facility encompassing 4.34 acres with a 29,000 SF, multi-level building with a 2 story entry/reception feature, including imported ceramic floors in the public areas and a staircase traversing up to a second story landing which provided access to Operations and Administrative offices

The architectural elements offered some challenging construction details including a rolled steel roof and an exposed clerestory. Exposed structural steel components, open ceilings and modular office systems were designed to create an atmosphere of light and height to the interior of the space.

Completed in 356 days, the combination of site restraints, scheduling commitments and specialty materials created a unique team building opportunity between the owner, architect and contractor.

St. Michaels Medical Center

Clearwater, Florida - Hawkins Construction was chosen as the Construction Manager for this Medical Office Building project in Largo, Florida. Phase one consists of construction of a new 21,000 SF building and parking lot with landscap-ing. Phase two is the remodel of the existing 8,000 SF surgery center.
