Centrifugal pumps

Centrifugal pumps involve an impeller driven by an electric motor. End suction describes the entry method and entry direction of fl ow to the impeller. There are a number of other designs which will vary depending on the application and they

may involve single stage or multi stage impellors. Centrifugal pumps may be mounted either horizontally or vertically and are often used for water supply, heating, cooling washing and pressure boosting applications.

Evaluation, reporting & repair facilities

Repairwork and parts supply serviceManufacturer dedicated service engineers will evaluate and complete all repair work, on or off site, as agreed by the customer. This may include genuine manufacturers parts, bearings, seals, windings, gaskets, circlips etc., plus fi nal testing, and the issue of a one year warranty. Our qualifi ed engi-neers will also provide on-site condi-tion monitoring anaysis to help prevent costly breakdowns.Our national coverage now extends to workshop facilities located at Hayley Glasgow.

Four stage evaluation and reporting documentation

STAGE 1A detailed report which includes photographic evidence of all component parts will be completed and submitted to the customer.

STAGE 2Every repair enquiry will entail a careful examination of the pump and its component parts by a skilled engineer. A document detailing this analysis together with any recommendations will be prepared and submitted to the customer.

STAGE 3A repair quotation will be created which itemises all parts to be replaced, plus labour and carriage costs involved with each repair.

STAGE 4A report showing the test results is made available to the customer.

Stocks & Spares

Good stocks of centrifugal and cavity pumps along with sparesSpare parts are an important part of our business and we believe in providing the most effi cient service for our customers. This means holding stock of essential spares including stators and rotors for progressive cavity pumps to mechanical seals for centrifugal pumps.

There’s also good range of submersible pumps, both single and three phase. We stock a variety of pumps exclusively for our customers in order to prevent production loss due to pump failure.
