Tiny Tales: Fridays: 10:30-11:30 am Join us as we read stories, learn finger plays, sing songs, play color & recognition games, make fun crafts & more! Last program July 27. We will resume September 7.
(No program 7/5 & No storytimes in August)

suggestions, fun events & opportunities to earn
fantastic prizes!
Registration begins June 10.
Our annual FREE Summer Reading Program
Picnic will be at the newly renovated Scout Park on Friday, August
2 from 5-7 pm. We invite all summer reading participants and their families to join us for bounce house fun, games, music and food. The
Library will supply hot dogs, chips, watermelon and drinks and you
can bring your favorite dish to pass. There’s always great food!!

Summer Reading Kickoff! Planetarium June 18, 1:00pm
Hazel Park Jr. High (22770 Highland Ave, Hazel Park, MI 48030)
Mobile Ed Productions, Inc is bringing their Sky Dome planetarium to
the Junior High. They will dazzle your budding astronomers as they
are taken on a tour of the solar system. You can also register for
Summer Reading and do some crafts. Please register at the library!
Adult Programs

relax with us for fun, food and crafts! $10

Your training begins as you create your own light saber, create crafts,
decorate Star Wars cookies, do a trivia contest, play games and learn
Jedi skills. Dress as your favorite Star Wars character and get a picture
at the photography booth. Star Wars will be playing in the
backgroundand make your own edible experiments..
The force is strong, so join us! PLEASE REGISTER!
July 16, 1-3pm Randy and Amy are doing this special program together. Come to the Library for wet, wild, sky defying, FUN! We will be exploring many forms of rocketry, and shooting them into the sky to see how they work. Build your own rocket, let it fly, see who’s flies highest, and furthest. Remember that cool trick with Mentos & Diet Coke? Well it doesn’t just make a soda volcano. We are going to end Rocket Day blasting bottles into the air with our very own pop-bottle mortar.
