FREE KIDS WINTER HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES

During the School Holidays visit studio 2 for free kids activities each week day, 10am to 12pm. Dates include Mon 9 to Fri 13 July and Mon 16 to Fri 20 July.

Children should arrive with carers at the advertised start time and should not be left prior to these times. Children are to wear old clothes or a paint shirt and shoes. No thongs or sandals. Remember to bring some morning or afternoon tea. Please avoid nut-based products.

3D WORKSHOP HOL012Enter the third dimension and make an artwork that stands alone. Using mixed materials and plaster you will have the opportunity to explore your 3D skills. What a creative class!

SIGHT LINES HOL013Artists use a vanishing point to show distance. Learn about near and far in your painting on canvas. You will have a new perspective!

PAINTING WORKSHOP HOL036

14 – 18 YEAR OLDS A three hour painting workshop designed for students to explore and experience different approaches to painting. You will experience planning the artwork, considering composition, colour and textures, and then paint a stretched canvas with acrylic paints and mediums.

14 – 18 YEAR OLDS Extend your drawing skills and knowledge of media in this class designed to challenge and develop your drawing. New students in art schools once spent their introductory classes in developing drawing skills. You will use a still life to focus on drawing techniques just as many art students once did.
