HAHS invites you to attend their monthly meetings which are held the first
Wednesday of each month, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Holmen Village Hall,
unless otherwise noted.
March 2, Women’s History Month: “The Anna Ruedy Diary, 1874-1884” Retired
history professor and Bangor & Area Historical Society’s president, Greg Wegner,
will share the diary of a young Swiss German girl born near Bangor in 1862. It highlights both immigrant and farm culture after the Civil War.
April 6: “Exploration, Encounter, Exchange in History.” Holmen Middle School
Eighth Graders will present top projects exploring this year’s National History
Day theme.
May 4: “Our Wisest Pursuit: The Wisconsin Farmer’s Union.” Thomas Jefferson
called agriculture our “wisest pursuit.” Holmen’s Mark Seitz will share his
documentary about an organization that has been dedicated to preserving and
strengthening farm life for over 84 years.

Effective February 1, Bronston Clinic in Holmen is pleased to announce that Dr. Andrew Jones, DCof Jones Family Chiropractic, will be taking over the Holmen clinic. Dr. Jones' family - Jen (wife),Chloe (7), and Griffin (5) will be locating to Holmen in July. Dr. Jones owns and operates asuccessful practice in Oshkosh for the past 5 years. He will be splitting time between the twooffices until an associate doctor is hired in Oshkosh.
