New. So much is new right now. The word 'unprecedented' has probably been used more the last few monthsthan ever before. Many times my quick and natural response to new and different things is to disapprovinglycompare it to the way things used to be. The Lord is teaching me (and likely many of us) that new seasonsbring new opportunities to see God at work in a way that I may not have seen before. My prayer for ourschool community as we embark on a new year is that we are joyfully flexible as we adapt and that we are ableto see the glory of God and the beauty of Christ shining through in places we otherwise would have missed.
