NEC P553, a 55-inch professional display

Almost all of NEC's Large Format Displays and the majority of the Installation Projector series support HDBaseT. In some cases these devices have a built in HDBaseT receiver, in other cases it is available via the Option Pluggable Specification (OPS) Slots.

With no cables required due to internal connection for power video, audio and control, the option board fits neatly within the display or projector profile for a more elegant installation.

In addition to the different receiver versions, NEC will also launch an extender unit. This will allow signal distribution over 100m for full plug-and-play HD video, audio, control, Ethernet and power.

The NEC 55" P553 sets the standard for rugged 24/7 use in the harshest installation environments. LED edge lighting delivers environmental, economic, and aesthetic impact. The LED backlighting technology improves power consumption and allows for a slimmer cabinet depth.
