First in number and importance

In Egypt there were many gods

Isa. 45:5 “I am the Lord, and there is no other”

Monotheism = belief in one God

The covetous person is selfish and is never satisfied:“He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.” Ecl. 5:10

Overcome by learning contentmentHeb. 13:5 “Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
