Job descriptionAs Head of Research & Development (Head of Product Development for Automotive Powertrain, Safety & ASICs) you will be responsible for the development of complex and differentiated power products with competitive time to market. Products which will shape the future of hybrid and electric vehicles, as well as improve on fuel economy and safety.

In your new role you will:

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

An . degree in the field of or related M.Sc. or Ph.D electrical engineeringdisciplines 

Excellent English communication skil ls

Adequate (10 years as a guide) in a experience in leadership high-technology , preferably in the  position semiconductor industry

Wide knowledge of with a proven track record of product development processessuccess in delivering complex products in time, cost & quality 

Overseen the planning and execution of projects from concept to manufacturing

Experience in dealing with professional customers, especially in the automotive industry is desired

Experience in the demanding automotive environment, especially on quality and functional safety requirements such as ISO26262 is an advantage

German language skills as a plus

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group K (www.feei.at/arbeitswelt/kv-tabellen-statistik/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
