Health Professions Scholarship Program
U. S. Army sponsored scholarship take mind off of bills and concentrate on
school
1, 2, 3, or 4 year scholarship
Entitlements/Benefits
100% tuition & fees paid to any accredited professional school in the United States or Puerto Rico Reimbursement for books, required instruments, health
insurance, & associated expenses
Monthly Stipend of $2157.30 for 10 ½ months & 2LT pay for 6 weeks + $20,000 Cash Bonus
No Student Loans (which can add up to over $180,000 with interest accruing each day)
No Basic Training

30 days of paid vacation
20 year retirement (w/full benefits)
Ability to perform clinical rotations at prestigious government facilities in Texas, Washington D.C., Hawaii, and many others

Obligations?
While in the HPSP:
Maintain full-time student status (No Deployment) 45 days at Basic Officer Leadership Course 45 days Active Duty Training (ADT) during summer Apply for both Military(96%) & Civilian(82%)

Serve one year in the Army for each year of HPSP (minimum of 2 years)

Accepted to or enrolled in an accredited grad program in the U.S. or Puerto Rico
Must be able to obtain a secret security clearance
Automatic Acceptance Criteria (AAC) (medical students): 3.5 GPA / 29 MCAT or(24-8/8/8)
