OverviewStudents have the opportunity toward being a Certified Nursing Assistant to explore careers in health care and work (CNA) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Practice with hands-on training in a simulated setting and focus on learning concepts essential for pursuing a career in the health industry.
Student Experience & ProjectsA variety of activities will enrich the classroom training, including health oriented activities such as community service events, blood drive, fire and rescue activities, senior center health screenings, service learning projects, HOSA competitions, job shadows, athletic trainer assistance, summer health camps, internships, and health industry career fairs.
