Senior Minnie is a feral girl in need of indoor home My name is Minnie, and

I’ve lived indoors since I wasa month old, but unfortunate-ly I was never socialized.

My person had to give meup when she went into assist-ed living. I was reallystressed at the shelter, so nowI’m in foster.

I can’t sugarcoat it, sohere’s the deal: I’m a senior, feral cat (that means I am notsocialized to humans anddon’t trust them at all) whoneeds to live inside (bothbecause I haven’t been out-side in over a decade and Ihave only three teeth).

I can peacefully co-existwith other cats if they leaveme alone, and I love to take

naps in my heated bed and onthe top of my cat towerwhere I can look outside inbetween naps.

I love to explore my cas-tle while my human servantsare sleeping, but I hide whenthey are awake. My humanservants should be veryunderstanding and know thatI am a picky eater, and whileI’ll let them get within a fewfeet of me, if they get closer,I will try to scratch or bitethem. My quality of life isquite good, as long as thehumans follow my rules.

I am available for “Fosterto Adoption” to see if I willmake a good fit. Call (970)484-8516 to learn more.

During our “Kitten Shower Supply Drive” this April, gen-erous supporters donated $1,500 worth of much-needed sup-plies for the care of kittens in our foster program.

Unfortunately, bad weather forced the cancellation of thesupply drive we had planned at the Sam’s Club in FortCollins.

However, we have anoth-er supply drive set at the FortCollins Sam’s Club for 10a.m.-2 p.m. July 9 (4700 E.Boardwalk Dr.). Stop andshop, and help us keep ourshelves stocked with clean-ing supplies.

At the Fort Collins eventon April 24 we served 112dogs and cats. In Greeley onMay 1, the owners of 190pets braved the rain and coldto ensure their pets got up to

have been awarded a$5,000 grant from BanfieldCharitable Trust to coverthe cost of vaccines and anyadditional treatments thatthe animals may need forfleas, worms or ear mites. Also, Best Friends AnimalSociety has granted $1,000toward the spay/neuter of50 dogs and cats.

FCCRSNC is excited tohost more Healthy PetsClinics in the future asfunding allows, and helpprevent the needless sur-render of beloved pets.

also donated their talents tocreate the Grand Cat master-pieces, whose sale alone net-ted over $3,400 forFCCRSNC.

There are lots of excitingchanges happening atFCCRSNC’s facility.

First, we are officiallyproperty owners and havepurchased Unit 3, the futurehome of our spay/neuterclinic. This was made possi-ble thanks to a $25,000 capi-tal grant from the AmericanSociety for the Preventionof Cruelty to Animals

(ASPCA) for our down pay-ment.

Second, Larimer Countyhas issued our permit to com-plete the renovations neces-sary to make Unit 3 the clinic, and our contractor should beable to begin work very soon. Thanks to a fundraiser byFromm Family Pet Foodand Poudre Pet & FeedSupply, we will also be ableto install two new high-effi-ciency, LED surgical lights.

Third, kitties with the fun-gal infection ringworm havetheir own special treatmentward in Unit 10. We are

proud to be the only shelter inthe region that treats kittieswith ringworm.
