For what do we watch? The signs of the masters coming.

Where do we look for these signs? They will be evident bothin the heavens and on the earth.

There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in variousplaces, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.

The signs in the heavens are the topic of interest in thisarticle, several of which are presented for your consideration.These signs are unquestionably from a source beyond the

reach of man who would tamper with it if he could. The moon,sun, stars and planets were each set in motion by the Creatora long time ago and no man has altered their courses in anyway. Based upon the astronomical and historical facts, youmay be surprised to discover that the range of interpretationof the signs I will address is rather narrow. The Brightest Event Ever Recorded

On March 19, 2008 the brightest event ever recorded by manoccurred, exceeding the one that had been previouslyaddressed on this page dating from January 23, 1999. ThatGamma Ray burst over nine years ago lit up the sky with arelease of energy equivalent to nearly ten million billion suns!

(NASA - GRB 990123) At its peak brightness, that eventreached a magnitude of 8.9, which is about 15 times dimmerthan the faintest stars you can see with the naked eye. Thelatest event, called GRB 080319B could be seen with thenaked eye! So, what does it mean? Read on.

A powerful gamma ray burst detected March 19th by NASA's Swift

satellite has shattered the record for the most distant object that

could be seen with the naked eye.

"It was a whopper," says Swift principal investigator Neil Gehrels

of NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. "This blows away every

gamma ray burst we've seen so far."

Swift's Burst Alert Telescope picked up the burst at 2:12 a.m. EDT

on March 19, 2008, and pinpointed the coordinates in theconstellation Bootes. Telescopes in space and on the ground quickly

moved to observe the afterglow. The burst was named GRB

080319B and registered between 5 and 6 on the visual magnitude

scale used by astronomers. (A magnitude 6 star is the dimmest

visible to the human eye; magnitude 5 is almost three times

brighter.)

"No other known object or type of explosion could be seen by the

naked eye at such an immense distance," says Swift science teammember Stephen Holland of Goddard. "If someone just happened to

be looking at the right place at the right time, they saw the most

distant object ever seen by human eyes without optical aid."

GRB 080319B's afterglow was 2.5 million times more luminous

than the most luminous supernova ever recorded, making it the

most intrinsically bright object ever observed by humans in the

universe. The most distant previous object that could have been

seen by the naked eye is the nearby galaxy M33, a relatively short2.9 million light-years from Earth.

If this is not a sign in the heavens, we've never seen one!Some suggest it was a farewell nod to Arthur C. Clarke, whodied that same day. He was practically worshipped by many.He was a brilliant but godless man to the end. The article Iquoted above closes out with such a tribute.

GRB 080319B was one of four bursts that Swift detected on March

19th, a Swift record for one day. Swift science team member JudithRacusin of Penn State University comments, "Coincidentally, the

passing of Arthur C. Clarke seems to have set the universe ablazewith gamma ray bursts." A fitting farewell, indeed.

This sign from heaven was intended for those of us who knowour God and that we are His! In direct contrast to being aparting tribute to a godless man of the earth it must be seenas an announcement of the coming man from Heaven!

The brief appearance of a point of light in the heavenspresents us with two elements to help us interpret what itmeans. We know both where and when it appeared. This signappeared in the region of the sky known as Bootes, a decanof the constellation Virgo. The meaning of Bootes is, "HeCometh," a reference to the coming of the Messiah in

judgment. This, you can study out yourself in the onlineworks ofBullinger and Rolleston, and you will see that thestar names give a clear picture that this is the message thathas been passed down through the ages as preserved by the

Creator for our benefit.

It is probable that his ancient name was Arcturus * (as referred to inJob 9:9), for this is the name of the brightest star, a (in the left

knee). Arcturus means He cometh.

I have just been checking the scriptures referenced inassociation with the star names in the Bootes table on theMazzaroth Web page and I keep shuddering and gettinggoosebumps! Because I know something about the timing!You see, as I just wrote in a writing just posted online

called The Jericho Scenario judgment has two sides, like acoin. One side involves harsh consequences, but the other,rewards. What is received in judgment depends on what isdue, but, both are delivered at the same time. The Lord haspromised that judgment begins with the church (1 Peter 4)and that will most assuredly come in connection with aresurrection event. The Bride Theft at the Barley Harvest isfirst on the schedule, and that, by many types of signs, isexpected to come this very year! This is where the timing ofthe gamma ray burst gets really exciting! The last day of the

Barley Harvest Feast is going to be April 28. The Bootes signGRB 080319B occurred on March 19. I was inspired to countback from April 28 to March 19 and I got 40 days. Check mycount. This number 40 is the biblical number for a trial period.If this all means what I think it means this Bootes sign is acountdown signal. The Judge is going to show up andpronounce a sentence at the close of the trial. Either you aregoing to be found innocent and set free, or you are going tobe found guilty and your sentence will begin immediately.

Of course, I could be just making this all up. You do yourhomework and draw your own conclusion. As for me, I'mgoing to be calling on the mercy of the court and makingserious plans to make my robe white in the blood of the lamb!

The Meaning of an Eclipse

According to Jewish Rabbinic tradition, an eclipse should beinterpreted according to the following: (Talmud - Mas. Sukkah29a) (The last pair are reversed in the minds of some.)

Solar: a bad omen for idolaters Lunar: a bad omen for Israel Red Moon at Lunar eclipse: a sword is coming for the whole

world Black Moon at Lunar eclipse: the arrows of famine are

coming to the world

Both red and black moon: both sword and famine In the East: specifically for those who live in the East In the West: specifically for those who live in the West In the midst of heaven: for the whole world At sunset: the calamity will tarry in its coming At dawn: the calamity is forthcoming

I neither agree nor disagree with the above interpretations,but I wanted you to see that these are assigned such meaningin the tradition of the religious leaders of Israel.

The Sign of the Red Moon

A red moon is noted in a number of scriptures relevant to thelast days prior to our Lord's coming. The Apostle Peter quotedJoel 2:28-32 in his address to those present at the openingevent of this present church age. In this discourse, hesuggested the events at the close of the age.

And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and

daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your youngmen will see visions. 29 Even on my servants, both men and women,I will pour out my Spirit in those days. 30 I will show wonders in theheavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke. 31The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before thecoming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. 32 And everyonewho calls on the name of the Lord will be saved; for on Mount Zion

and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the Lord has said,among the survivors whom the Lord calls.

Joel 2:28-32

The book of Revelation contains another significant mention of

a sign of the red moon.

I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a greatearthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair,the whole moon turned blood red, 13 and the stars in the sky fell toearth, as late figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind.

Revelation 6:12-13

There are a number of reasons the Moon would appear red.Viewing the moon through a very dusty or smoky sky wouldcause it to appear this way. Heavy Volcanic activity, anasteroid impact, a nuclear explosion or some combination ofthese would cause such a phenomenon. In the scripturesnoted above, the moon turning red is mentioned inconjunction with the sun turning black, suggesting to me thatthe event which will cause this unusual discoloration of thecelestial bodies will be caused by an atmospheric condition.The moon also turns red during a lunar eclipse. Although alunar eclipse wouldn't cause the sun and stars to bedarkened, it is a rare enough celestial event to be noteworthy,

especially as there have been so many of late correspondingto the Holy Day calendar.

Recent Lunar Eclipses that Correspond to the HolyDays

This phenomenon is not so remarkable as some might think,because the Jewish calendar is lunar based. But let's notforget that the Creator planned it that way for his purposes,which makes this kind of sign all the more worthy of note.

Pesach - April 15, 1995 Sukkot - October 8, 1995 Pesach - April 3, 1996 Sukkot - September 27, 1997 Purim - March 23, 1997 - As I watched this one from a

favorite local viewing spot, the beautiful darkened and

slightly orange-colored Moon in eclipse (all but the top,making it look like it was wearing a yalmarke) was in closeproximity to the reddish planet Mars. On the other side ofthe sky, the comet Hale-Bopp was visible in a gloriousdisplay near its closest approach to the Earth.

Another lunar eclipse occurred September 16, 1997, abouttwo weeks before Rosh Hashanah, or, in the middle of thetime of preparation for the approaching High Holy dayseason that focuses upon personal reflection andrepentance (teshuvah).

There have been others even more recently as well.

The Meaning of Comets

As with an eclipse, a comet is generally thought to be a badomen. Is this concept valid or is it merely a superstitioustradition? You can draw your own conclusion.

Much of what was prophesied by our Lord in Matthew 24found a fulfillment in the first century. The temple wasdismantled to the extent that there was not one stone leftupon another. Jerusalem was destroyed. Prior to thoseevents, numerous warnings had been given, among themmany miracles involving the temple. In conjunction with the

miraculous, the comet we call Haley's made its appearance in66 AD. Being a regular visitor every 76 years, this would nothave been particularly noteworthy but for the spectaculardisplay that year which, as the historian Josephus dulyrecorded, "stretched out over Jerusalem like a sword." Thecomet's appearance at that time may have been a similarevent to that which is described in I Chronicles 21:

David looked up and saw the angel of the Lord standing betweenheaven and earth, with a drawn sword in his hand extended over

Jerusalem. Then David and the elders, clothed in sackcloth, fellfacedown.

Then the Lord spoke to the angel, and he put his sword back into itssheath.

I Chronicles 21:27

The angel had been in the process of slaughtering theIsraelites because of David's sin of taking a census of thepeople. Seventy thousand of them died. Blood is the required

payment for sin. The Lord is merciful, but there is justice forthose who reject the mercy he offers.

Wrath will be poured out upon the inhabitants of the earth.These recent bright comets stretched out over the land likedrawn swords. As yet, the hand of the angel is stayed, the

judgments are withheld for yet a short season. Shall we saythat due warning has been given?

The Solar Eclipse Comet Sign

According to the article by Gary Stearman in the April 1997Issue of Prophecy in the News, there have been solar eclipsesduring the visitation of a comet visible to the naked eye onlyfour times in recorded history. Because a solar eclipse is theeclipsing of the Sun by the Moon, it usually occurs on the lastday of a month on the Hebrew calendar - the very middle ofthe moon's dark phase. The first day of the month begins atsunset when the crescent of the Moon first appears afterconcluding its dark phase.

Please observe carefully the years in which these solar eclipsecomets occur.

One of the most recent just occurred on March 9, 1997.Visible in Mongolia, western Russia and parts of Alaska, thecomet Hale-Bopp was observed during the daytime!

In 1948, the year Israel was reborn as a nation, anotheroccurred. Known as The Eclipse Comet, C/1948 VI (1948 XI),

it appeared during the solar eclipse of November 1. Asreported in the Sky & Telescope magazine (January 1997),the following report was given about those who had viewed it

from the plains of east Africa. "...A handful of astronomers

huddled quietly around their cameras and instruments waiting for

totality. When the last spark of sunlight was extinguished, an

unexpected celestial spectacle was revealed. Mingling with the

diaphanous coronal streamers was a comet with a long, curving tail

and a head more resplendent than Jupiter. Humankind had its first

glimpse of the great Eclipse Comet."

One year earlier, the comet known as The Southern Comet,1947/XII was visible during the total solar eclipse ofMay 20,1947.

The fourth and final solar eclipse comet was called CometWells, 1882/I. It occurred on May 17th and was viewed fromEgypt. That year, 1882, is significantly the year in which avery important aliyah in the modern era occurred. Jews leftDharkov, Russia to settle Palestine - the land of theirforefathers. The great dispersion of the Jewish peopleamongst the nations of the world found a significant reversal.

If there is a trend which can be noted in regards to thecelestial sign we call a solar eclipse comet, it may perhaps befound in the following verse, one which has tremendousrelevance due to its role as a scriptural chronology marker.

Assemble before me all the elders of your tribes and all your officials,so that I can speak these words in their hearing and call heaven andearth to testify against them.

Deuteronomy 31:28

The assembling together into the land is particularly markedin the years 1882, 1947 (UN granted Israeli Jews self-determination) and 1948. Although there were other yearswhich have been significant, these were certainly veryimportant years involving the return of the people to the land.Heaven is bearing testimony to God's providence in thesematters, is it not?

As to the solar comet eclipse of March 9, 1997, perhaps it

signifies the Lord's marking of the closure of the period ofassembling, for His intent and purposes.

The Shoemaker-Levy Comet Sign

A few years ago, the comet called Shoemaker-Levi broke intowhat is believed to be 21 pieces and crashed into the planet

Jupiter. Prior to this event, astronomers speculated wildlyabout what effect this would have upon Jupiter and indirectly,upon the earth. The bombardment occurred over a five dayperiod, beginning on the 9th of Av on the Hebrew Calendar.(July 16-21, 1994)

This is a day of great infamy in Israel. The Mishna, an ancientJewish commentary declares that when the spies gave thereport after returning from the promised land, the Israelitesturned against Moses, Joshua and caleb on that day. (SeeNumbers 14) It was on this day that both the first and secondtemples (Solomon's - ~587 BC and Herod's - 70 AD) weredestroyed. At least five other disastrous events have beennoted as occurring on this very day, which have been veryhurtful specifically for the Jews.

At the time of this remarkable event, Jupiter was in the signLibra, popularly represented as "The Scales," or, perhapsmore likely, "The light." The adjacent constellation, Scorpio,"The Scorpion" was also involved. The area of the sky whereJupiter was located during the bombardment is pictured aswhere "the scorpion" is attempting to seize "the light." Thescorpion is possibly symbolic of Lucifer, whose name means"light bearer" or his agent, the anti-messiah.

Jupiter is the King planet, symbolic of the King of Kings - theJewish Y'shua HaMoshiach and possibly also symbolic of the12 tribes of Israel. The exact number of pieces of the cometwhich slammed into Jupiter is uncertain. Either 21 or 22, I'mnot sure anyone knows the exact number. Twenty-one hasbeen noted (Don Kistler) as being the number which means"the exceeding sinfulness of sin." Twenty-two is the numberof letters in the Hebrew alphabet, and also signifiesLight/Making Manifest. For either number, the meanings areextremely relevant when considered along with the symbolismof the celestial bodies involved in the incident, the area of thesky in which it occurred and the history of the date ofoccurrence.

The comet's assault upon Jupiter in Libra beginning on the 9thof Av tells an intriguing story! Indeed, as noted inDeuteronomy 31, heaven is bearing testimony against those

responsible for misleading their own people and keeping themfrom acknowledging their true Messiah.

Not too long ago, a gentleman named Daniel R. Walshcontacted me about his research into the biblical impact of

Shoemaker-Levy 9. As you may remember, this was thecomet that broke into pieces and crashed into Jupiter in 1994.He graciously sent me the book he wrote and published in1996 (85 pages) entitled Prophecy and the Comet - BIBLICALIMPACT OF SHOEMAKER-LEVY 9. He has really done hishomework on this matter, comparing the effects each of the21 pieces had upon Jupiter with the 21 judgments recorded inthe Book of Revelation. A fascinating read! (He related to methat there is an ELS code mentioned in Michael Drosnin'sbook: The Bible Code, that appears as follows: Shoemaker-Levy, will pound Jupiter, 8th AV (July 16, 1994) I have notconfirmed the validity of the code and can offer no furtherdetails about it at this time.)

The Orion Comet Sign

The Talmud records the oral tradition of the Jews (Berachoth58b) which tells us that when a comet passes through theconstellation Orion, the world would be destroyed. The Comet

Hale-Bopp would appear to be a fulfillment of this sign. Itentered the region of the sky known as Orion on May 20,1997 and exited on June 16, 1997. Another comet appearedshortly afterward whose path paralleled that of Hale-Bopp.This comet, 1998 J1, or, "SOHO," has passed through Orionas well, and according to Bob Wadsworth's study of these twocelestial objects, both entered the ancient constellation Argoon the same day, June 14, 1998. SOHO entered from thenorthwest, and Hale-Bopp, from the southwest.

The Noahic Flood Comet Sign

According to recent orbital calculations by astronomers, (re.Daniel W.E. Green of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center forAstrophysics) this same comet we now call Hale-Bopp passedthrough the inner solar system once before - about 4210years ago. The Flood began 1656 years from Adam, in the Fall

of the year we know as 2238 BC. That was 4234 years ago. Ifthe comet appeared somewhere around 4210 years, it wasthe time of the great flood. According to what is recorded inthe Seder Olam Rabah, an ancient Jewish text, we mayobserve that a comet appeared at about the time Noah beganbuilding the ark. It was probably the comet we know now asHale-Bopp! Do you think that this comet may have been asign of the impending destruction of the world by water? I do!

According to our Lord's words in Matthew 24:

As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son ofMan.

Matthew 24:37

By the sign of the rainbow, God's promise not to destroy theearth again by water still stands. However, the Earth will bedestroyed by fire. What was evidently a portent of the firstdestruction could well be the same for the next. Consider thefollowing prophetic declaration.

They will say, "Where is this 'coming' he promised? Ever since ourfathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning ofcreation."5 But they deliberately forget that long ago by God's word theheavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water.6 By these waters also the world of that time was deluged anddestroyed.7 By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved forfire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodlymen.

II Peter 3:4-7

The announcements made by such celestial messengers ascomets are the judgments of the Highest Court and they willbe executed upon the earth and its peoples. Once again, I ask

if the prophetic Jewish tradition about a comet's passingthrough Orion should be cause for concern. Let's just considerit one witness' testimony that it is.

When I first saw the picture in a National Geographic, it struckme as a Venn Diagram. As the whole of humanity iscomposed of two sets of people, Jew and Gentile, we see twolarge rings possibly representing these two sets. The churchof our Lord's body consists of a people called out from bothJew and Gentile, represented in the diagram where the twolarge rings intersect. These have in common holy spirit,depicted by the bright ring around the intersection. The twobright stars seem to represent the Father and the Son. The star that produced SN 2006gy apparently expelled a largeamount of mass prior to exploding. This large mass loss is similar to

that seen from Eta Carinae, a massive star in our galaxy, raising

suspicion that Eta Carinae may be poised to explode as a supernova.Although SN 2006gy is intrinsically the brightest supernova ever, it

is in the galaxy NGC 1260, some 240 million light years away.

However, Eta Carinae is only about 7,500 light years away in our

own Milky Way galaxy.

"We don't know for sure if Eta Carinae will explode soon, but we

had better keep a close eye on it just in case," said Mario Livio of

the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, who was not

involved in the research. "Eta Carinae's explosion could be the beststar-show in the history of modern civilization."

One reason for the level of excitement generated by SN2006gy is that the pre-nova activity observed in SN 2006gy isso similar to activity seen at the present time in Argo. Thissuggests that a similar supernova could soon be seen in Argo,the constellation that so beautifully pictures a resurrection ofthe righteous! If I remember correctly, the man I referred toabove, F. Chris Patrick, told me during a phone conversation

that there would be another sign coming in Argo. Do yousee what I see in the picture? It looks like an enormousdiamond ring! Such a thing speaks of engagement! A sign ofthe promise of a future wedding! The Bridegroom and theBride - will they not soon be joined in such a way? two gorgeous rings. In addition to what I had seen andwritten about that image, those two rings could certainly beviewed as wedding rings!

Hale-Bopp in Argo

We have seen evidence that the comet Hale-Bopp is a signfrom a number of angles already, and have also considered asign in the constellation Argo. Now, if the celestial light Hale-Bopp were to appear in the zodiacal sign known as Argo,wouldn't that be notable? It did! Hale-Bopp passed throughthat area of the sky in mid-August to December 1997!

As previously mentioned, Hale-Bopp very likely last appearedprior to the flood in Noah's day as a warning. Bob Wadsworth,fellow biblical astronomer, has noted that Hale-Bopp, as seenfrom earth, spends most of its time in the constellation Pavo.Pavo, previously known as Argos, appears to represent Noah,the builder of the ark of which Argo is likely a symbol.Another association with Noah is seen in connection with theyear that began when the comet was actually seen in Argo.The Jewish accounting of the year which began in Septemberof 1997 was the year numbered 5758. In Hebrew, it iscomposed of the four letters tav, shin, nun, chet and can beviewed as an acrostic meaning "season of Noah." As theRabbis like to say, "Coincidence is not a kosher word."

very significant meaning AND the interval of time betweenwhen each comet was at that intersection point is exactly onesolar year - to the day! If you superimpose the

charted paths of the twocomets, you see that an Xis formed, the paths beingnearly perpendicular. Thepicture looks rather like thecross-hairs of a rifle scope,focused right between theeyes of what is pictured inthe sky charts as thesevered head of theGorgon, medusa. Althoughthe Greeks called that headbeing held by Perseus,Medusa, the Hebrew namefor it is Rosh Satan, "thehead of the adversary" - Satan's head!

The paths of the comets intersect very near the beta star inPerseus, algol, which means, "rolling round." Another namefor it is Al Ghoul, the evil spirit. The Starlore Handbook saysthat, according to tradition, Algol is the most malevolent starof the heavens. This star is a variable star, cycling every 69hours between a brightness of the fourth magnitude and the

second. According to Bullinger: "It is a most remarkable

phenomenon that so many of these enemies should be characterizedby variable stars!"

The perpendicular intersection of the two comet's paths nearAlgol also appears like a cross; a cross, right between the

eyes or in the forehead of the head of Satan! That's ratherironic symbolism, isn't it? This leads us to view this area ofthe sky as representing the lawless one, the anti-messiahbeast. The appearance of the cross on the forehead remindsme of the mark of the beast in the forehead if the followers ofthe beast. (See Revelation 13:16) The beast whose followerswill have his mark in their foreheads will surely be as Satan's

head in the earth. The appearance of the cross speaks also ofsome association with the "Christian Church,' which is inkeeping with the foreshadowing of the unveiling of the lawlessone shown by Judas Iscariots coming out from among the 12disciples to betray the Messiah.

It would appear that this phenomenon of the crossing of thecomet's paths is a sign given to indicate the coming of thelawless one. The coming of this wicked one will itself be a signto the church that it is about to be gathered to the Lord.(See II Thessalonians 2:1-3) Because of this hope we have, asign of the soon coming of the lawless one is a welcome sign,but a sobering one. Here is what the coming of the evil onewill be like.

II Thessalonians 2:9-12

Consider how that the people who have been involved with

the Heaven's Gate group have fallen prey to this deception.Lest you think that the people who will be deceived are aparticularly gullible few, consider the testimony our Lordrelated to us in Matthew 24.

For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform greatsigns and miracles to deceive even the electif that were possible.

The implication here is that all but the elect will be deceived.

That includes a majority of the people on the planet! How dowe avoid being deceived? because any counterfeit isrecognized only by having a familiarity with the details of agenuine, to know the true Messiah intimately is our bestpreparation. To be familiar with what the Bible says about thelawless one and the signs to be given is most helpful. I havewritten at some length (See endnote #4) about the signwhich is specifically given to signal the church when it isabout to be harvested from the earth, a sign which involvesthe lawless one. When he is revealed in a powerful anointing

and display of power and authority, this is the sign by whichwe will know the nearness of our departure to be with theLord.

Let me show you how the date the two comet's pathsintersected relates to this sign. One of the most importantthings I learned about the revealing of the lawless one is thata particular date on the Hebrew calendar is highlighted by theforeshadowing biblical types of the event. The Hebrewcalendar date Nisan 13 is strongly suggested for the event to

occur. Because the Hebrew calendar is a lunar-basedcalendar, Nisan 13 corresponds to a different date each yearon our common solar-based "Gregorian" calendar. In 1996and 97, the comet's paths crossed on the same Gregoriandate, April 11, but the corresponding Hebrew dates wereNisan 22 (in 1996) and Nisan 4 (in 1997). I was curious abouthow closely associated April 11 and Nisan 13 might be, so I

cross-checked the calendar years for a thirty year period(from 1981-2010). April 11 coincides with Nisan 13 in onlyone year, 2006. As a plot of all the dates would show, April 11falls in a very random distribution across the whole month ofNisan. This approach didn't produce the fruit I thought itmight. However, when I ignored the Gregorian date andsimply considered the two Hebrew dates designated by thecomets, (Nisan 22 and Nisan 4) I discovered that the meandate was indeed Nisan 13! (22-4=18 | 18/2=9 | 4+9=13 |13+9=22)

It is a fact that the mean Hebrew calendar date of the crossedpaths of the comets is the very date given in the Bible whenthree (and four) distinct foreshadowing types are presentedfor the revealing of the lawless one. It is a fact that thecomets crossed paths in the area of the sky known in Hebrewas "Rosh Satan"- the head of Satan; the nearest named starbeing traditionally known as the most malevolent star in theheavens. If there really are signs in the heavens and thelights in the celestial heavens are given for signs andappointed times, isn't it time we paid attention to theirmessage?

A Prophetic Message

Do not put out the Spirit's fire; 20 do not treat prophecies withcontempt. 21 Test everything. Hold on to the good.

I Thessalonians 5:19-21

Prophetic messages have been given by some connecting thecomet Hale-Bopp with the lawless one. John Leary broughtforth a message in this regard on Thursday, March 27, 1997.

Jesus said: "My son, this comet that you have seen tonight with

your own eyes, is the sign of the Anti-Christ's coming. I have toldyou before to look to the skies for the signs of things to come. I

have also told you that I, and not the Anti-Christ, would producethis sign of his coming. As you see the darkness come after, you

will know his reign will be brief, but darkness will have its day

much like the men I allowed to crucify Me for your sake." (Thanksto Dr. William Zambrano for bringing this to my attention).

Although there are many who claim to be prophets and theirtestimonies are diverse, we have a directive (1 Thessalonians5:20-21) not to treat prophecies with contempt and to testeverything, holding on to the good. John Leary is a Catholic.Many would automatically reject any message he broughtforth on that basis alone. It's not my intent to provide ablanket endorsement of all his prophecies and neither do Icondone Catholicism or any other-ism, but we're going to findthat this very relevant prophecy passes the test!

John stated that Jesus said: "My son, this comet that you have

seen tonight with your own eyes, is the sign of the Anti-Christ's

coming. that would seem to be confirmed by what we havenoted thus far, would it not? The date the prophecy was

brought forth seems to be important because of the wordsJesus was purported to have said about the comet "that youhave seen tonight with your own eyes." What was so specialabout Thursday March 27? It was "Holy Thursday," the daybefore the day Catholic tradition asserts was the crucifixionday, or, "Good Friday." According to the scriptural record,Jesus was crucified on the 14th of Nisan. March 27th relatesto Nisan 13, then, in a manner appropriate to the prophet'sown frame of reference - it is the day before the crucifixion.

In my opinion, the prophecy passes the test. As a test ofauthenticity of any forewarning about the revelation of thelawless one, the Nisan 13 connection continues to work, timeand time again. Watch future anniversaries of Nisan 13,friends. It looms darkly on the horizon.

Being now better informed of the facts, the traditionalsignification of a comet as that of a bad omen seemsadequately supported by the Hyakutake/Hale-Boppconcurrence, doesn't it?

The Turn of the Millennium Sign of the King PlanetOutburst

As we crossed over from the sixth to the seventh millennium,a sign was observed in Jupiter, the King Planet. Within days ofthe 2000 year anniversary of the King of Kings' birth, theplanet representing Y'shua the King marked the birth orbeginning of the new millennial day in which the King will

reign on earth. I have already noted Jupiter's involvement inseveral signs that are important dating signs. This oneoccurred on September 21, 1999.

Sky and Telescope Magazine reported about this observationof activity on April 12, 2001 in Jupiter's Light Show.

Excerpting the article: Already recognized as the most potent

system of its kind in the solar system, it appears that Jupiter's aurora

can also put on quite a dazzling and impromptu light show.

On September 21, 1999, as the Hubble Space Telescope looked on,

the planet's north polar region erupted with ultraviolet light thatbrightened 30-fold in just 70 seconds. Then, almost as quickly, the

outburst abated. Although space physicists have been monitoring

the Jovian aurora with HST for more than a decade, nothing this

intense or abrupt has ever been witnessed. The article stated thatthe observers ''can't yet explain what caused the outburst,but they suspect an external trigger''.

I suggest that it was He who sovereignty controls the

universe that was the external trigger. The King Planet was inthe zodiacal constellation Aries at the time, a sign of the ramthrough whom comes atonement. The sign occurred on whatprobably was the biblical accounting of the very Day ofAtonement.

Rho Cassiopeia - a Bride Sign?

Celestial events that occur in the constellation of Cassiopeia(a sign representing the Bride of Christ) are most certainlyworth noting. Dramatic events have recently drawn attentionto this star named Rho Cas that suggest to me that thechanges in this star's magnitude (brightness) may besignaling us concerning the Bride.

According to Lobel and Dupree,the star has had a chaotic

Many of us noted in 2000 that the Lord had begun a season ofdealing very particularly with His Bride. It seems to havecorresponded with the Rho Cas eruption event.

Over a 200-day period, the star became brighter by 20 percent, a

anniversary of the day construction began on both temples(by Solomon and then by Ezra) is one of these days, thesecond of the month iyyar.

The constellation Aries is known in theHebrew as "Taleh" - "the lamb." Thebrightest, or, alpha star in Aries isnamed, "El Nath" which means;"wounded, slain." The beta star is "AlSheratan"; "the bruised, the wounded."This zodiacal sign is an obvious picture ofthe lamb that was wounded and slain,our Lord Jesus Christ - the lamb of God of John 1:29 whotakes away the sin of the world. The menorah is also a symbol

of the Lord who is the Lamb, with his church over which he isthe shepherd. I want you to consider what is written aboutthis Lamb in Revelation 21.

I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God almighty andthe Lamb are its temple.

It is very interesting that the Lord God Almighty and theLamb are the temple in the New Jerusalem. If the heavenly

menorah is "in the Lamb," (Aries) it is symbolically placed inthe temple in the New Jerusalem. The marking of theanniversary of the day construction began on the earthlytemple twice before in history by such a unique celestial signwas certainly worth noting!

Holocaust Remembrance Day Conjunction /Occultation

A celestial event marked Holocaust Remembrance Day, April

23rd, 1997. Jupiter and Venus were near conjunctionseparated by only 1/2 a degree when occulted by the moon.From some locations, these planets were both hidden by themoon at the same time. These two brightest planets haven'tbeen occulted together since 1791, over two hundred yearsago. Is this a warning about a coming holocaust? Probably,but I think it has a direct relevance for those of us who presstoward the prize of the upward calling.

This visually dramatic event occurred where Aquarius, the

water bearer, pours the water out of his jar and one of thefish of Pisces receives it with open mouth. Living water,poured out by the Lord Jesus Christ is received by his church.

"Holocaust" is a Greek word that has the meaning of burntand wholly consumed, as a "burnt offering." The Septuaginttranslates the Hebrew for "burnt offerings" into this word,which can also be found in the NT scriptures. Isaac as a burntoffering was a type of Christ. To really remember theholocaust is to keep the cross in view. Look back and look

ahead. Fear not to become a burnt offering, for if he deemsyou worthy to call you to such an end, your Lord will pour outliving water for you and you will have great joy as he shareshis glory.

The Lunar Occultation of Al Debaran

On the very day Hale-Bopp arrived at the location Hyakutakehad passed exactly one year earlier, a further celestial eventoccurred; the Moon occulted the bright alpha star in Taurus -Al Debaran. A Lunar occultation occurs when, as viewed fromthe Earth, an object is "behind" the Moon and thus obscuredfrom view. This is one way of bringing a certain star to ourattention on a particular date, thereby associating themeaning of the star with that date.

The star name Al Debaran means "the leader, or, governor."Taurus is depicted as a charging bull in the sky charts with AlDebaran (a red star) being the "red eye" of the bull, or,re'em. (See Revelation 1:14) According to Bullinger, theconstellation Taurus represents "Messiah, the coming Judge ofall the earth," but as with many messianic symbols, there isan opposing signification as well.

Larry Pahl, who maintains a popular website shared the

following with me in a recent e-mail: Al Debaran is the eye of

Taurus. Symbolically Taurus represents the juggernaut of the

antichrist. While of course the bull can symbolize a sacrificial

offering such as the red heifer and thus symbolize Christ, I think itsintended eschatological meaning is the driving, wasting power of

the antichrist at the end of time. In the Bible the eagle represents

both Christ and Satan as does the lion (your adversary the devil, asa roaring lion,...The Lion of the tribe of Judah), so it is not unusual

that this bull could have both significations. The reasons I give this

interpretation are put in the heavens by God. The horn of Taurus is

striking the heel of Auriga, the charioteer, a plain symbol of Christ.

We know that the first prophecy of the gospel in the Bible, Gen.3:15 says that he, Satan, would bruise the Messiah's heel. Also,

Orion, another plain symbol of Christ as the returning conqueror,

with his club raised, is raised to strike Taurus. The name Al

Debaran, meaning the leader, or governor would thus be Satan, theeye and director of the antichrist.

Nearly a month prior to the Lunar occultation of April 11,there was another of the same star as viewed from Europeand the Middle East, on March 14. Bob Wadsworth had noted

at that time that "the Muslims see this as a Very important sign in

against Israel. This may be pure speculation, or maybe its not. Most

nations of the Muslim influence have the crescent moon with the

star on their national flags. Seeing such a sign in the Heavens may

inspire them to take certain actions."

Certainly, the last few months have been marked by Arabaggression towards Israel, but what I have observed to beparticularly fascinating is that the action Bob ratherinsightfully associated with the lunar occultation of Al Debaranis that of aggression towards Israel.

Taking into consideration the two signs which occurred onApril 11, 1997, a single message seems to be implied. They

point towards the soon appearance of a Satanic leader, anaggressor against God's people, a deceiver and an evilMessianic pretender.

Mark the date on your future calendars and watch carefully,fellow prophecy students. We should be watching for the signfor the church, learning about it and sharing what we knowwith anyone who will listen. We must faithfully prepare totestify when that day of evil comes that Jesus is the trueChrist, Y'shua HaMashiach, and that the lawless one is an

impostor, a pretender. We should be well prepared to showfrom scripture the foundation for our claims - and to give ourlives for this cause. These remarkable celestial signs warn of acoming day, the very "day of evil" itself. We should bementally, physically and spiritually prepared when it comes;practicing obedience, humbling ourselves before the Lord aswilling subjects, repenting of every sin and honoring what isholy.

Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand againstthe devil's schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh andblood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against thepowers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in theheavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so thatwhen the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground,and after you have done everything, to stand.

The Great Pyramid: - A Polar Alignment

There is another facsimile of a temple located in Egypt, thegreat Pyramid of Giza. The capstone of this ancient stone

structure is a symbol of Jesus. It has ever been missing fromits pinnacle for it is the stone referred to in the Bible as"rejected by its builders."(Luke 20:7) This is an allegory ofJesus being rejected by national Israel at his first advent. Hewill be accepted, and the capstone brought out according toZechariah 4:7. Volumes have been written about its physicalarchitecture, internal and external. Honest skeptics whoinvestigate the claims made about its Messianic teaching turnto accept Jesus as their Savior and Lord. It has been said tobe a Bible in stone and a chronograph of the history of man, a

revelation of the world's government by its Creator. Much hasalso been written aboutits astronomicalcuriosities.

It is no coincidence thatthe dates I haveascertained for Y'shua'sbirth, baptism and death

by various means (mostparticularly biblicalastronomy) are identified and validated by students of theGreat Pyramid.

Chamber floor and the Ascending Passage at September 29, 2 B.C.,

the date of the birth of Christ. (Our calendar contains a two-year

error. When historians originally attempted to count backward to

the birth of Christ, they did so by accounting for the Reign ofKings. One of the kings counted was actually ruler of his country

twice, the second time under a different name for a period of two

years. When the years of rule were counted, this king's reign wasmistakenly counted twice). Coincidentally, the horizontal base of

the triangle in the Pyramid is 30,043 inches, or 3,469 inches short of

the crucifixion, which corresponds to the date of October 14, 29

A.D., the date of Christ's baptism.

The Descending Passage pointed to the pole star Alpha Draconis,

circa 2170-2144 B.C. This was the North Star at that point in time.No other star has aligned with the passage since then.

The 344 ft. length of the Descending Passage provides an angle ofview of only +/- 1/3 of a degree. Alpha Draconis has not been in

alignment for thousands of years. The next alignment will be with

the North Star, Polaris, in about 2004 A.D.

The descending passage of the Great Pyramid is aligned withthe zenith of the heavens. This feature relates to a heavenlysign because it lines up as an optical sighting instrument to apole star. In about 2170 B.C. the pole star Alpha Draconis,(Also known as Thuban, the Subtle One) was at the zenith ofthe heavens, shining down the Descending Passage. That staris no longer the pole star because of a characteristic of theearth's movement called the precession of the equinoxes.

The Pole Star Al Ruccaba, (The Revolved Upon) commonlyknown as the Polaris, or the North star, presently lines upwith the Great Pyramid's optical sight. Its hard to getconsistent information on this so the dates may be off by afew years, but I'll present the dates as I read them first.According to some sources, in 1997 this brightest star in theconstellation known as the "greater sheepfold" or the"stronghold of the saved" shone upon the Pyramid's featureknown as the "Point of Last Escape," the entrance to the WellShaft. In 2004, it will have recessed to shine upon the floor ofthe "Subterranean Passage." What does this mean? Heavenand Earth are bearing synchronized testimony. The geo-celestial alarm clock is going off. Something is going tohappen.
