Your jumper starter is designed as a compact, durable and portable jump start & air compressing system for vehicles and boats. This self-contained system will start most vehicles and boats without the need for a host vehicle or 240v ac power supply. This system can also be used as a safe, portable source of 12v dc electric power & compressed air in remote locations and / or in emergencies.

Yellow: Battery voltage incrase to 14.7V, then drop to 13.7V(Float)

Green: Battery voltage increase to 12.3V

The jump starter has a combination battery condition and battery charging led indicator. While charging the power booster, these indicate the charge level and when the battery level check button is depressed these indicate the battery condition.The 12v dc cigarette lighter type socket is provided for use with appliances that would operate from a vehicle cigarette lighter. This allows maximum portability and utility when your jumper starter is used in remote locations.For maximum convenience, your jumper starter can be recharged with the separately provided 240v ac adaptor / charger. The emergency light switch operates the built-in led emergency light.Two covered cigarette lighter type 12v dc sockets are provided.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR GETTING THE MOST FROM YOUR NEW JUMPER STARTER:

RECHARGING1. For maximum battery life, we recommend that your power pack be kept fully charged at all times. If the battery is allowed to remain in a discharged state, battery life may be shortened. The below table shows the relationship of the frequency of use between recharging and the expected number of charge/recharge cycles.

2. Recharging. The time required to fully recharge your power pack after jump-starting and engine is a function of how many jump-starts are performed between recharging sessions. Table 2 shows the approximate recharging times you can expect.

3. We recommend that you check the charge in your power pack by depressing the red push-button switch. The indicators will show the battery charge.

240V AC ADAPTOR / CHARGER CHARGING:Plug the 240v ac adaptor/charger into a 240v ac power outlet and put the other (output dc 12v) end into the receptacle on the front panel of your power panel until the battery meter shows full.• Charging time: approx. 50 hours by 240v ac 12v 500ma adaptor

12V DC CIGARETTE LIGHTER PLUG CHARGING:Insert the cigarette lighter plug of the 12v dc/dc adaptor/charger (See parts identification) into a 12v dc cigarette lighter receptacle (on your vehicle or boat) and put the other (output) end into the receptacle on the front panel of your power pack until the battery meter shows full (13v).

WARNING FOR HOW TO MAINTAIN BATTERY LIFEYou must recharge the battery every 3 months or immediately when the red low voltage warning indicator flashing or low voltage warning buzzer beeps.OperationTo use your power pack as a 12v dc power source:1. Lift up the cover of the 12v dc cigarette lighter receptacle. (see no. 1 of parts identification)2. Insert the 12v dc cigarette lighter plug from the appliance into the 12v dc cigarette lighter receptacle on the front of your jump starter.

JUMP STARTING For optimum performance, when using your power pack to jump start a vehicle or boat, please read and follow these step-by-step instructions:1. Switch the engine of the vehicle or boat to be jump-started to “0ff”2. Connect the red (+) clamp to the red (+) positive battery terminal of the vehicle or boat3. Connect the black (-) clamp to a non-moving metal part of the engine, or to the (-) negative battery terminal, Turn the jump starter power switch to ‘on’.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ALLOW THE RED AND BLACK CLAMPS TO TOUCH EACH OTHER OR A COMMON CONDUCTOR1. Once the engine is running, Turn off the jump starter power switch, disconnect the black (-) clamp first and return this cable to its stored position on the power pack.2. Disconnect the red (+) clamp and return this cable to its stored position on the power pack.3. As soon as possible, connect your power pack system to the 240v ac charger and recharge.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

SPECIFICATION: 12V 19Ah sealed lead acid non-spill able maintenance free rechargeable battery1. Unscrew and remove the screws at the back of your power pack.2. Lift off the cover plate to expose the battery compartment.3. Unscrew the screws at the top of the battery.4. Lift the battery out of the battery compartment.

CAUTIONSTO AVOID POSSIBLE DAMAGE THAT MAY SHORTEN THE UNIT’S WORKING LIFE. ENSURE THAT THE RED AND BLACK RECHARGING WIRES STAY WITH THEIR JUMPER CABLES AND ARE NOT SWITCHED.

5. Detach cables and the red and black recharging wires from the battery terminals.6. Ensure that the replacement battery is oriented with the label out.7. Ensure that the red cable and red recharging wire are attached to the positive (+) battery terminal. (also marked with red). Attach cables and the recharging wires to the battery terminals.8. Taking care not to damage the circuit board, slide the new battery in position.

BATTERY DISPOSALThe lead acid battery contained in the power pack jump start system should be recycled once it has expired. Some states require recycling. Please contact your local solid waste authority for recycling information.WARNING: do not dispose of the battery in fire as this may result in an explosion.

WARNING: before disposing of the battery, protect exposed terminals with heavy duty electrical tape to prevent shorting (shorting can result in injury or fire). Do not expose battery to fire or intense heat as it may explode.

When the jump starter on/off switch is at off position, if you connect the jump starter to the battery in the wrong polarity (reverse polarity), the jump starter warning buzzer will sound to remind you. And you should never turn the jump starter on/off switch to on position until wrong connection have been corrected!

About the build in air compressorThe built in air compressor is a 2 cylinder heavy duty compressor that will supply 22 liter/minutemaximum pressure of 120 PSI compressed air with nonstop working time for up to 1 hour. After 1 hour of nonstop operating the compressor stop the compressor for at least 10 minutes before continuing use. It is ideal for inflating 4WD tyres, sport balls etc.To operate the air compressor, simply attach the detachable air hose (supplied) to the jump starter air compressor nozzle, and connect the right adaptor (supplied) to the item you wishing to inflate. Then turn the compressor button to ‘on’. The compressor pressure gauge will show the current compressed air pressure.

4. Switch the vehicle or boat ignition to “on”.5. Wait a minute or two.6. Switch the vehicle or boat engine ignition to “start” for no more than 5 to 6 seconds.7. If the vehicle or boat engine does not start, wait at lease 3-minutes before trying again.
