Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, To morrow about this time [shall] a measure of fine flour [be sold] for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria. 1 רָ חָ מmchr tomorrow הָ אְ סsae seah ־- תֶ לֹ סslth flour לֶ קֶ ְ b·shql in·shekel םִ יַ אתָ סְ וu·sathim and·two·seahs יםִ רֹ עְ shorim barleys לֶ קֶ ְ b·shql in·shekel רַ עַ ְ b·shor in·gate-of ן רְ מֹ shmrun Samaria : : :2 7 ןַ עַ ַ וu·ion and·he-is-answering ישִׁ לָ ַ הe·shlish the·adjutant-general רֶ ֲ אashr who ־- ךֶ לֶ ַ לl·mlk for· the ·king ןָ עְ ִ נnshon n leaning לַ עol on ־- דָ יid·u hand-of·him תֶ אath » ־- Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, [if] the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die? 3 לֶ אal to ־- הוֵּ עֵ רro·eu associate-of·him הָ מme what ? נוְּ חַ נֲ אanchnu we יםִ בְ ֹ יishbim ones-sitting הֹ phe here דַ עod until ־- נוְּ תָ מmthnu we-die : : :4 7 םִ אam if ־- נוְּ רַ מָ אamrnu we-say אבָ נnbua we-shall-enter ירִ עָ הe·oir the·city בָ עָ רָ הְ וu·e·rob and·the·famine ירִ עָ b·oir in· the ·city נוְּ תַ מָ וu·mthnu and·we-die םָ shm there םִ אְ וu·am and·if ־- If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine [is] in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also.
