Travel Grants for Conference Attendees! Thanks to generous donors there are a limited number of $600 travel scholarships available for consumers or family members who cares for them (one per family). Priority will be given to applicants who will be attending the Oley annual conference for the first time, and Oley Ambassadors. Qualified conference registrants should write two paragraphs describ-ing how they believe attending the conference will affect their life and submit them to [email protected] or The Oley Foundation, Albany Medical Center MC-28, 99 Delaware Avenue, Delmar, NY 12054. The ideal candidate will also describe their plans to share information learned at the conference with consumers and/or clinicians back home. If there are still grants available on May 24, we will consider applications from consumers and caregivers who have attended a conference before. You can be placed on this waiting list by submitting your paragraphs as outlined above. Please indicate (in the subject line, if sent by email), that you’d like to be placed on the list. Applicants should not be receiving any other financial assistance for travel and/or lodging expenses related to attending the conference. Travel grants are limited to one per family/household. Travel must be completed and receipts received by Oley before reimbursement can be made. Details at www.oley.org/SupportForConfTravel or contact Cathy at [email protected].
