Introducing New Technology to the Classroom

ResponseCard ‐ Developed in Java™ and .NET for maximum application flexibility, the ResponseCard API also allows developers to integrate ResponseCard response technology into the rapidly expanding world of web‐based applications. The open ResponseCard API will enable a variety of applications to take advantage of ResponseCard hardware and provide a proven response technology solution for your end users.

Many applications, particularly assessment applications, require a one‐to‐one ratio of computers to students/participants. However, often times this ratio is not available in learning and training environments. Firms that do not have an adequate supply of computers will be able to reap the benefits of assessment products that integrate with Turning 's ResponseCard technology.

Third party trainers need to be efficient to be profitable. This system is designed to be used with or without the use of the clicker technology. If the clicker technology is used, the trainer may choose the “Quick Method” for tracking or just to use the clicker system for interactive feedback during training sessions to enhance training delivery.

If necessary the trainer may use the “Quick Method” and complete training which can be sorted out using the clicker ID number at a later time for the individual clicker assignments.

An In‐house training group can use the system to train employees and capture data with the use of rosters (training groups) with the clickers assigned to each trainee for individual tracking of the data (training results) for a myriad of reports.

The trainer will set‐up the training groups before the sessions, pass out the assigned clicker to each trainee, then deliver the training and capture the results for complete documentation.

If necessary the trainer may use the “Quick Method” and complete training which can be sorted out using the clicker ID number at a later time for the individual clicker assignments.

Training Flow‐ Basic Paper Tests

The menu is designed to manage the training flow of the presentations. You may elect to print and hand out the Study Guide and give a module quiz (manual) for each module.

Go to 2.

Module plays with full narration. You may advance or go back through the module using the controls at the bottom of the player. If you prefer to discuss slides in module turn down volume.

At the end of the module is a practice quiz. The trainer can ask each question and by a showing of hands (majority) select the answer to the question. At the end of the quiz you will be given a (group) score. You may review the answers.

You are given 4 final tests which you may use for training comprehension and validation.

Additionally you have access to the entire quiz pool for your own Final tests.

Open Clicker‐Quiz by double clicking the C‐Quiz link on the Menu.

Select a Participant List, (or use Quick Method) for tracking students.
