A’Nelle Nelms is the testing and admissions coordinator and oversees

• supervised testing & prior evidence evaluation;• the Proctor Network, including proctor qualification; and • Mensa Home Test evaluations.

– $52 for primary Mensa members

– $35 for additional Mensa family members living

in the same household and members of the

same group

– $140 for the three-year membership

– $230 for the five-year membership

• PDQ currently provides releases in five major areas:– Release to Local Group– Release in Local Group directory/register– Release in national directory/register– Release to Special Interest Groups– Release to approved benefit providers (case-by-

case)• PDQ Privacy changes currently available through

the National Office ([email protected]) or on our Web site (www.us.mensa.org)

• Changes to these releases will be effective January 1, 2005

• These changes reduce number of releases from 22 to 9, combining internally released information for Local Groups and SIGs.

• Request a directory diskette from the National Office; we apply the releases for you!

• By all means, you *may* provide advanced notice and offer an additional opt-out of local directories.

• There is some concern about publishing birth year; avoid distributing birth year if at all possible.

• Funding statements mailed to Treasurer.• Funding wired to your local group on third

Friday.• If we don’t get newsletter for three months

you won’t get member funding. • Notify the national office if you change banks

or accounts. • If your group is not incorporated, use Mensa’s

tax ID to set up your bank account.• Encourage your members to renew and

reinstate online!

• Officer, distribution changes, and information requests MUST have LocSec authorization prior to fulfillment.

• Change member information via the Web, saving staff data entry time.

• Notify us of phone number changes with your address changes.

• Include name and member number whenever possible.

ChangesChanges• We capture local membership information for

processing on the last business day of the month. Get those information/officer changes in early!

• Delivery of local newsletters may be delayed up to six weeks depending on when changes are received, when monthly distribution occurs, and when the local group mails its newsletter.

• Bulletin mailing extracts around the 19th of each month.
