Village Partners International is a volunteer non-profit organization that began with the idea of helping others help themselves and empowering them for a new tomorrow. Through partnership, we work to help develop sustainable programs that ultimately will improve lives and promote healthcare in communities that have great need. With God’s grace and the generosity of our donors, we again were given opportunities to help many in this country and beyond in 2018. In Haiti, the small hospital was supported as well as the outreach mobile clinics serving the surrounding communities where VPI supplied medications, vaccinations and care to those with nowhere else to go. The clean water project was expanded to build cisterns that reach over 50,000 people, greatly reducing the instances of water borne diseases. A nutrition program targeting malnourished infants and children was begun with implementation of programs in six small villages in the surrounding mountains. A small team was sent for evaluation of the program, which has been shown to have significant impact on the infant development in the area. In Uganda, support for the pediatric clinic and safe house continued where children with malaria, malnutrition, HIV and other diseases were cared for. A mobile vaccination clinic went into the community to reach other children. Safe deliveries occurred at the maternity clinic where prenatal care and teaching were given. The hurricane season of 2018 devastated the Florida Panhandle. VPI was able to send significant supplies to the area working with Project Sol Relief and The Everyday Heroes project to help bring relief to the areas impacted by the storm. VPI was able to collect and donate bicycles and helmets, as well as clothing and supplies for the migrant children and families at Beth-El Farmworkers Ministry in Wimauma, Florida. The hard work and generosity of our donors, volunteers and partners has allowed VPI to continue the mission of sharing God’s hope and love throughout some of the most vulnerable parts of the world.

-Sylvia Campbell, MD President, VPI

In 2018, VPI was able to improve thousands of people’s lives through the

services of medical care, education, safe housing, feeding and nutrition

programs, clean water, and other humanitarian assistance. Thanks to the

support of our volunteers and donors, VPI will continue to partner with the poor

so that they can obtain the resources needed to create lasting positive impacts.
