of Winneshiek County

Our Vision….A vibrant community inspired and united to share its gifts to develop, nurture, and sustain quality of living for all.

Thank you for supporting United Way of Winneshiek County

Give to something you care about. When you support the United Way, you will be joining a movement that will make a difference to the lives of real people in the towns and countryside of Winneshiek County.

And here is how: You help local people. And this is the key. Your gift helps those who could be your neighbors, friends, and family members. Their issues may be related to a family crisis, safety in the family home, care of elderly citizens, and much more. Your giving assures that their lives will be better.

You help the community. A gift to United Way of Winneshiek County is the most effective and efficient way to help the entire community. When you make a donation, your money stays in our community to help with needs as varied as the people who have them. This means that your generosity makes our region a better place for all of us to live and work.

You help local organizations. United Way of Winneshiek County partners with 17 local nonprofit organizations to help as many people as possible. Instead of focusing on a single cause or issue, United Way support can address many of the crisis and long term needs of our children, older citizens, needy individuals, and families.

The United Way has effectively and efficiently helped the residents of Winneshiek County for more than 30 years. The committed members of this all-volunteer organization have and will continue to assure that your gift will have the greatest impact possible.

Thank you for helping to make a difference.
