Stroll along the Esplanade – Helsinki’s famous park boulevard and visit the market and Mannerheim Street, the city’s longest avenue, head to the Central Station - the popular meeting point of Helsinki - where the tour will end.

We will return you to the cruise or enjoy an extra time in downtown for lunch, independent sightseeing or shopping. Your guide will give you directions to the ship.

Your glimpse of the city starts with a guided city tour, taking you to the most important and interesting sites of Helsinki, such as the historical Finlandia Hall and the Opera House. Enjoy brief stops at Helsinki’s central Senate Square, home to the Lutheran St. Nicolas Cathedral and the University head to the Sibelius Monument – a stainless steel sculpture dedicated to the Finnish composer Jean Sibelius. If open, visit the Temppeliaukio Church (also known as the Rock Church). Only its attractive copper cupola rises above the surrounding rock walls.

Back aboard your motor coach to return to Helsinki where you will visit the most unique landmark of the city, the Rock Church.

Because of its special architecture, Temppeliaukio Church (Rock Church), completed in 1969, is one

of the main attractions in Helsinki.

The church hall is covered with a dome, lined with copper and supported on the rock walls by reinforced concrete beams. The interior walls are of rugged rock and rubble wall. Before noon, the sunlight spreads from the row of windows surrounding the roof periphery to the altar wall, where an ice-age crevice serves as the altarpiece.

Begin your excursion by private car for glimpses of some of Helsinki’s most popular sights, including the Uspenski Orthodox Cathedral, the Presidential Palace, the new Opera House, the National Museum and the Parliament House. A brief stop is made at historic Senate Square, designed by the architect Engel. The

Senate Square and its surroundings form a unique and cohesive example of Neoclassical architecture. The square is dominated by four buildings designed by Carl Ludvig Engel between 1822 and 1852: Helsinki Cathedral, the Government Palace, the main building of the University of Helsinki and the National Library of Finland.

The Senate Square also hosts a sound installation called the Sound of the Senate Square. It is a modern version of the European glockenspiel and can be heard every day at 17:49 as it travels from one building to the next.

From there, continue out of the city limits through the picturesque Finnish countryside to historic Porvoo, a town founded by the Swedish King Magnus Eriksson. Charming Porvoo is famous for its unique Old Town district.

The historic ambience of Old Porvoo is created by idyllic wooden houses, gardens, and cobbled streets. Little boutiques, high-quality restaurants and atmospheric cafes are also an essential part of a holiday in the town.

On arrival in Porvoo, pause at the Old Bridge for magnificent views. Then, enjoy approximately one hour of free time to explore cobblestone streets, the

A deposit of 20% of the cost of the tour is required in order to hold a reservation. Final payment is due no later than 30 days prior to the date of your tour. However, we advise you to make full payment. All prices are stored in Russian roubles and when converted into $/Euros are subject to change due to currency fluctuations. For this reason, the total price shown in the invoice is guaranteed within three days from the date of issue of the invoice; a 20% deposit guarantees only reservation but does not fix the total amount.

1. At any time an Administration Fee of $30 per person will apply for cancellations for your reason. In addition, the company reserves the right to charge 5% of the total cost in relation to bank charges.

2. Less than 30 days before a tour, you will be charged 20% of the cost of your tour.

3. Less than 15 days, you will be charged 100% of the cost of the tour.

4. If you cancel your private booking while other members of your party remain on the tour you will be refunded the difference in cost based on the revised numbers.

After receipt of payment we will make a reservation. Confirmation and Tour ticket (blanket visa) is then sent to you via email.
