Catworth 24 Legal opinion upon a caveat The College presented their clerk to a Living <Catworth> and with the Presentation a Caveat is lodged against anyone being admitted unless with the permission of Thomas Rixon at the sign of the White House in Drury Lane, Long Acre - dated 17. Dec. This Thomas Rickeson is said to be the son of Anne Rixon (Y.34) and claims through his mother Anne The College document, Y.34, shows that she had no interest in the advowson, only in the proceeds of its sale. Advice - The College need not trouble to find out all the Drury Lanes, or White Houses, as he is out of the Diocese of London, his giving no sufficient address is fatal to his claim. None will be made, and the Bishop may institute the clerk.
