La química la tecnología y tú• La palabra “química” proviene del
termino árabe al-kimia ( que significa “ el arte de la
transformación”) que a su vez los árabes tomaron de la palabra
egipcia keme que significa “tierra negra”.

• The word "chemistry" comes from the Arabic al- kimia (which means "the art of transformation") to turn the Arabs took from the Egyptian word keme
meaning "black earth".
La alquimia.
• precursora de la química, fue practicada desde el siglo VII. En Egipto y Mesopotamia hasta el siglo XIX en diversos países de Europa como Inglaterra y Alemania.
Alchemy.
• precursor chemistry was practiced since the seventh century. In Egypt and Mesopotamia to the nineteenth century in various European countries like England and Germany
Los alquimistas
• pretendían transformar los metales en oro y alcanzar la inmortalidad. según ellos ambos procesos eran equivalentes.

se volvía inmortal su carne ya no envejecía ni se pudría, en analogía con el oro, un metal que aparentemente nunca se deteriora.

• puede provocar grandes, el conocimiento químico también ofrece las estrategias más confiables para detectarlos y corregirlos.

La química.• parece haber se convertido
en la antítesis de la naturaleza. Actualmente se emplea cotidianamente la palabra natural (encontraste con lo artificial).
