The Parish staff wishes to thank the following parish minis-tries: We thank our parishioners and staff who minister in the fol-lowing ways: church cleaners, liturgical preparations for the weekday and weekend Masses, candle ministry, and sacristans. Know that we appreciate the shar ing of your time, talent, and treasure with the parish community. We thank our parishioners and staff who have shared their time, talent, and treasure in creating the liturgical environment for our Eucharistic liturgies and prayer experiences during the Easter Season. Many blessings! Alleluia! Alleluia! We thank our parishioners who support the parish through the offering of Mass Stipends, flower donations, use of the Sun-day envelopes and Faith Direct, and gifts to the parish. We are grateful for your generosity. We thank our parishioners who donated to our Youth Ministry for Work Camp 2018. A special thanks to the youth who spoke at the Masses last weekend and to those overseeing the collec-tion of the Work Camp funds. Many blessings! We thank our parishioners who have generously made pledges and donations to the Bishop Lenten Appeal (BLA) 2018. Your pledges and donations are another way which we live out and support the “works of mercy.” The parish has exceeded its BLA goal and has pledged 111% to the BLA with 20% of par-ticipation from parishioners. Many blessings! We thank the members of the Ladies’ Society for their con-tinued commitment to the “works of mercy.” We also thank them for their presence at the religious goods stand in the Church as some of our par ishioners planned for the cele-bration of their child’s First Communion. We thank our parishioners who donate to the St. Jude Appala-chian Mission. Your donations assist the mission in their out-reach to those in need. We thank the members of our parish St. Jude Appalachian Mission Ministry. May we continue to do the “works of mercy.”

Dear Father Tom: I've seen the announcements for the PAC. How do you pick the members? I might be interested in join-ing you. Interested Dear Interested, Peace and Good. First, please know that as the Pas-tor, I'm not a member of the PAC according to Canon Law, but I'm required to preside over it. Our PAC consists of ten to twelve members selected by me from nominees who are registered members of the parish. Some members rotate off the PAC at the end of July each year. It's my duty to ponder deeply and select parishioners for a three-year term who reflect the various neighborhoods, social and profes-sional groups, and ministries and can help me ac-complish our Parish's mission statement: St. Joseph Catholic Church preaches the Gospel through word, sacrament, and service to others in order to build God’s Kingdom. Father Tom

St. Joseph Catholic Church serving as a YMCA site. IT'S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR… SUMMER!

When kids experience Y Camp, they experience something new every day. Like the power of a positive mentor, the confi-dence that comes from trying (and succeeding!), and the im-portance of healthy, long-lasting friendships. Of course, they don't know this – they just think they're having a whole lot of fun!

That Man is You! is an interactive, multi-media men’s pro-gram focused on the development of authentic male leader-ship. Each lesson successively considers men in their relation-ship to God, to their spouse and to their children. The program content harmonizes current social and medical science with the teachings of the Church and the wisdom of the saints to devel-op the vision of a man fully alive. Come join the Men of our Parish in enriching relationships with both Christ and family. All men are invited to attend TMIY on Friday mornings start-ing September 2018.
