This tutorial as !ade or the Hero Wars !a' called: Hero Wars Icelands 1.2ar. I ill try to give as

!uch inor!ation as I can. #lso I ould like to 'oint out that this is a tutorial3 hoever it ill not

2 Getting started

2.1 Picking a hero

#ter the ga!e has started you ill see the olloing:

To 'ick your hero select the tree hich has your 'layer color and alk over to the tele'orter !arked

ith T on the a"ove 'icture. #ter you have selected a hero you ill ant to kno hich attri"ute is his 'ri!ary attri"ute. When you select your hero you ill see three dierent attri"utes: +trength3 #gility

and Intelligence. Beore those attri"utes there ill "e a 'icture o a ist3 a oot or a head. The ist !eans

your hero is strength "ased3 the oot !eans agility "ased and the head !eans intelligence "ased. In the 'icture "elo the the three icons are shon.

3 Upgrading your hero

3.1 General information

The irst thing you ill ant to do ater getting a "ank and "eore the irst duel ould "e getting a set

o ards ro! the sho'. This ill increase your chances o inning the irst duel or they !ight save

your lie. They only cost 1(0g hoever they can "e very deciding. They can "e "ought in the sho'shon in the net 'icture.

3.2 trength heroes

Beore the irst duel you ill need to u'grade only strength. #ter the irst duel you ill need to start

u'grading agility too this ill "e to give you so!e ar!or "ut !ore i!'ortantly this ill increase yourattack s'eed. #lso you ill !ost likely ant to get so!e "oots o s'eed to increase your alking s'eed.

Hoever do not to!e agility over 200 "ecause at 200 agility your attack s'eed ill "e !aed out.

When you have reached 200 agility you ill only "e re?uired to u'grade strength.

3.3 Intelligence heroes

Intelligence heroes are the hardest to to!e hoever they can "eco!e very strong ater a hile. Beore

the irst duel you can decide on to dierent tactics. 8ou can to!e only intelligence hich ill giveyou 'lenty o !ana and a nice "it o da!age. 8ou can also decide to u'grade ith to!es o 'oer.

These to!es give your hero >2 to all attri"utes and cost only 100g. )'grading ith these ill give you

the advantage o having !ore health as ell as !ore ar!or hoever this ill also !ean that you illhave less !ana and da!age. #ter the irst duel you ill need to u'grade your hero ith to!es o

'oer. 8ou ill continue ith this until your agility is 200. #ter this continue u'grading only strength

and intelligence. I ould advice to kee' intelligence at least 1005200 higher than your strength.;onlyater you have reached 200 agility<

3.! Agility heroes

#t the irst duel agility heroes ill also have to u'grade only their !ain attri"ute3 "eing agility. #ter

the irst duel as soon as you get *00 gold get a ge! o 'iie health in the sho' shon in this 'icture:

In hero ars the key to inning a ga!e is tea!ork. To kee' everything clear and 'revent

!isunderstandings you should !ake divide the tasks you have to do. These tasks can "e divided into

to categories: #ttack and /eense.

The decision on ho does hat de'ends on hich hero one gets. This !ean that all 'layers have to "e

a"le to do "oth tasks. Heroes ith good attack characteristics ould "e heroes ith: #vatar3 /eath and/ecay3 @eincarnation3 Meta!or'hose3 Mirror i!age3 Wind alk. I you hero has one or !ore o these

skill it ould "e seen as an attack hero. /eense heroes ould "e heroes ho have: %yclone3 Antangle3

can re!ove this nasty shield ena"ling you to cast s'ells on hi!. #ter the 1- !inutes 'ass the 'riority

ould "e to get a deense set u' asa'. With a "ank you ill "e a"le to "uild $ destroyers a 'layer. Bothattackers as deenders ill have to "uild destroyers to deend their "anks and ar!. The deender

should !ake so!e !ore handy!en ater "uilding the toers. These are needed to !ake re'airs on the

toers as the attacker tries to destroy the!. 6urther into the ga!e the attacker ill "eco!e really strong

and you ill need so!e etra goodies to kee' deending. When the attacker is so strong that one stun orentangle doesn4t ork and he can kill toers you ill "e needing cyclone s'ells. These can "e "ought at

the let s'ell store. # lot o attackers try to stun the deender so you should consider getting an #M+ 'ack. When a attacker al!ost kills your toer or even orse your ar! cast cyclone on hi! hich ill

send hi! lying "uying your handy!en ti!e to re'air the structure. It is essential that you dis'ell any

#M+ as soon as 'ossi"le "ecause you can4t cast cyclone on hi! hen he has #M+ on. This re?uires a

"it o !icro!anage!ent and you ill ant to consider 'utting 'riest on autocast a"olish hoever thisisn4t as ast as doing it "y hand and so you ill still need to react ast. #n i!'ortant thing in the deense

is kee'ing alert ;ene!y !ay "e invisi"le< and he !ust kno the hotkeys or his skills to ?uickly cast

s'ells. # hero 'laying or a"out an hour can kill you ar! in (5, hits and hich e?uals a"out $5&seconds. This is a really s!all ti!e ra!e in hich to ork and this is hat !akes deense "oth un

The irst saving techni?ue is sending your gold to another 'layer on the tea!. This is the easiest ay to

The irst duel is an i!'ortant duel "ecause it ill 'ut your tea! at an advantage. To in the irst duel

;or to survive< several conditions have to "e !et. The irst one ould "e that your stats have to "e as

good as 'ossi"le. #lso you ill have to kno hat heroes the ene!y has and hich skills they have.6or ea!'le: hen you have an intelligence hero ith really lo HP and you are u' against a hero ith

everything since the actual attack da!age isn4t that hight yet. Thereore hen one has s'eciic skills hischance to in ill increase signiicantly. These skills are:

I you are u' against these kind o heroes I ould advice you to "e careul and get ready to run.

● When using avatar or anti !agic shield ait as long as you can ith casting it since so that it

ill not run out during the duel.

● When 'laying the +eer do not orget that you can #"olish anti !agic shields.

this ill increase the healing ti!e ro! the ard or you healing you !ore

● When you are u' against Thorns aura or a!'iric #ura you can use anti !agic shell to sto' the
