Hershey, Pennsylvania
Hershey, Pennsylvania is where the largest chocolate factory in the world is. The chocolate is made in a mass production factory witch is a water powered machine. The reason the factory is made there is because there is lot of people power and water power.
The West Quoddy lighthouse
The West Quoddy lighthouse is on the tip of main so the sun raises there first in our country . The west Quoddy lighthouse was finished in 1808.
Mount Washington
Mount Washington has very severe weather. The most windiest moment in Mount Washington was when it was 231miles per hour! Mount Washington is located in New Hampshire. It is the highest peek in the Northeast.
Plymouth, Massachusetts
Pilgrims were heading to Plymouth Massachusetts. There was no government. There were about 102 people on this long and hard trip to Virginia. There were bad people on the is land they had no government and they did not like kings and queens. So they voted for a leader.
Washington, D.C.
Washington D.C. is our nations capital. The executive, legislative, and judicial branches are there. The legislative branch makes laws, the executive branches leader is the president and there job is to carry out the laws and the judicial branches job is to make sure the laws follow the constitution.
Boston Massachusetts
Boston Massachusetts is where we got our freedom. It is were the revolutionary war started because of this war we got our freedom from Great Britten.
New York City, New York
In New York city there are people everywhere you look New York is the most populated city in the Northeast. People from all over the world come and visit New York City.
The Erie Canal
The Erie Canal is in New York City it helped get goods from the from the great lakes to New York city and then the goods can travel all around the ocean. It is 340 miles and has 83 locks. It was man made.
Independence Hall, Philadelphia, PennsylvaniaIndependence Hall is in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is called the birth place of our nation because on July 4,1776 the Declaration of independence was written here. It gave us our freedom from Great Brittan.
