Recently, on May 15, 2014, Beaver Stadium renovated their score boards, adding a giant-sized version of the familiar blue-and-white oval logo that weighed 6,500 pounds, measured 35

feet by 25 feet in size, and has about 1,400 LED lights. Penn State depended on Best Line Equipment to provide boom lifts, and utility vehicles to support the project successfully.

caused by torturous Hurricane Sandy. The college was completely out of power when they contacted Best Line. After discussing the technical specifications and electricity needs of the campus, Best Line was able to deliver over 10 generator units and more than 2,000 feet of cable within eight hours, working into the night, to provide the campus with needed power generation.“They came to Best Line Equipment

because they heard we specialize in power generation,” said Weibel. “We provided Lafayette College with a plan to deliver several of our stationary Doosan generators, and standby units, so the campus could get up and running quickly.” Today, because of this experience, Lafayette College utilizes many of Best Line Equipment’s aerial lifts, generators and other equipment for a wide variety of campus projects and renovations.

LEHIGH UNIVERSITYBest Line Equipment provided a wide selection of utility vehicles, such as Bobcat, Cushman, GEM, and Polaris to several universities state wide, including Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. With the popularity of

energy efficient transportation vehicles on the rise, Lehigh University recently purchased 3 GEM electric passenger vehicles for their athletics department from Best Line Equipment.

SLIPPERY ROCKUNIVERSITYSlippery Rock University came to Best Line Equipment to purchase two aerial lifts under the Pennsylvania State Contract, COSTARS Program. Slippery Rock’s Physical Plant Office needed a

60 ft. boom lift and a 25 ft. scissor lift to complete general maintenance projects throughout campus. In addition to purchasing equipment, the university benefits from Best Line Equipment’s Aerial Training Courses.

“Slippery Rock utilizes Best Line Equipment Safety Training Program,” said Darius Reed, Best Line Equipment Industrial Sales Representative.
