HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH CULTURAL PROJECT RUBRIC
During Hispanic Heritage Month, September 15th – October 15th,, we celebrate the culture,
accomplishments and contributions of Hispanics. Your assignment is to highlight a Spanish-
speaking country and its culture in a PowerPoint presentation.
*Due date: Friday, October 2, 2015 (PowerPoint must be emailed as an attachment to your class/group
on My Big Campus. Projects should not be emailed to Srta. Branch’s email account.
Required:
Maximum slides: 10 Maximum time: 5 minutes
An introductory slide with your heading and country’s official name that is easily read .
Pictures of the following:
a map of your country with its capital clearly marked
its flag (and the meaning of its colors)
a traditional (authentic) dish
your country’s currency (and the exchange rate)
the people
the political leader
Organize your presentaton so that your sentences match the order of your PowerPoint slides.
Your Self-Assessment rubric is completed and submitted.
