believe in an endless cycle of life, Death and rebirth

The Story of the creation of buddhism

The story goes... The Young prince walked out of his palace only to see a group of suffering people...

He Then thought about it for a while and worked out how unfair it was that he lived in a palace and they were suffering on the street...

The young prince then decided to dedicate the rest of his life to helping people who are suffering around India...

After a while The prince recruited many people to help him on his quest to end human suffering.

Reincarnation Buddhists believe that if you lead a good Buddhist life you would be reborn into a good animal. e.g. Like a dog or if you are lucky you will be reborn as a human.

If you lead a bad Buddhist life you would be reborn as a bad animal e.g. A rat

The indian subcontinent, sri lanka, east asia, indochina, and regions in Russia and the Netherlands.

Is is estimated that about 350 million people follow buddhism, that is about 6% of the entire human population of the planet Earth.
