Painting- Portraits and Self-Portraits Portraits are pieces of art showing a person. Self-portraits are portraits that an artist creates of themselves. We need to consider facial features when drawing and painting a portrait. Artists represent people in portraits in a number of ways. Cubism is a way of painting and drawing where artists show more than one view of something in the same picture, lie looking at the many sides of a cube at once.
