There was a time when all of the sexiest cars happened to be bright red. This st ate of affairs was an anamoly of course, for it was as recently as three years p rior that one would often see on the road vehicles painted a number of garish hu es. There were even examples where more than one color was used on the same piec e of coachwork. Oh, the horror of it all, to think to the sheer chaos of those d ays. Why then was the pork chop angry? These cuts typically evidence a more sanguine attitude, being the very definition of a laid-back piece of meat. Things were de finitely awry. But the sun went somewhere else. People noticed. As a result the pork chops were in more generous mood and parka sales increased more than anyone who was still alive could remember. Sure, there were the tales passed down from the now-deceas ed elderly about when everyone and everything was frozen solid. Slowness was the virtue that all aspired to. Red cars covered each street corner, piled this way and that, willy nilly and ki tty corner from the squinting boy who, small spyglass in hand, nervously surveye d the scene. A delicate step off the curb was his plunge into a zone of danger a nd intrigue, one not as apparent until intermixed. Another thought about chemist ry & the amazing properties of water, like surface tension: "Wow, just wow", she commented, thinking about the stars. Fingers low and mind the gap, along with miles and miles of marmalade.
