SPECIAL NOTE: HOI-ASTD & The Rally Point are co-sponsoring a school supplies drive to benefit the Adopt-a-Child program at The Center for Prevention of Abuse: Items in need are listed on the reverse. Attendees who bring school supplies will be entered into door prize drawings, including a complimentary registration for the Employee Learning Conference on December 7. Our goal is to supply 10 kids with the supplies they need for great beginnings at school. Items may be brought to the event or dropped off by August 16 at The Rally Point. Hours are Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. School supplies requested include: (Crayons, (boxes of 24); Pencils (#2 lead); White glue, 8 oz. washable (Elmer’s preferred); Scissors (metal Fiskars preferred); Pocket folders; Erasers (Pink Pearl or similar); Spiral notebooks (wide-ruled); Loose-leaf notebook paper (wide-ruled); Rulers (combination metric and English); Washable markers; Colored pencils; Ball point pens (blue or black, erasable); Compasses and protractors; Zippered pencil pouches; Backpacks or book bags; Tissues (large boxes) ADDED DISCOUNT: Individuals who join HOI-ASTD at this event will receive half off the 2012 regular membership fee of $50.00.
