HKEXnews Website Tutorial Welcome to the enhanced HKEXnews Website HKEXnews Website has been enhanced with new layout designs and features. Visitors will experience a new way to navigate the website and customisation for mobile phones and tablets. The enhanced website continues to provide access to regulatory filings and disclosures of Hong Kong listed companies. Website functionalities remain unchanged and the same wide range of contents1 continue to be available to visitors. In the enhanced website, you will be able to see new features and improvements that aim to improve visitors’ browsing experience and facilitate faster access to information. Global header and footer are introduced for easy navigation. Web contents have been categorized to facilitate easier navigation via the main menu. Some major search functions are brought forward to the homepage for direct access. Information which used to appear on several pages is merged into one for direct access, thus bringing information upfront and reducing the number of clicks for quicker navigation. 1. Homepage

a. Big Banner

Click the selection button to view the banner on different focus items.

b. Search section

Search functions for listed company information and CCASS shareholding are now brought forward to the homepage. Click the relevant tab to access the selected search function.

c. IPO Allotment Results

Click the red arrow to expand and view details of the latest IPO allotment results.

d. Quick links –

Click the links to access popular information and reports, such as Board Meeting Notifications, Dividends & Other Entitlements, List of Directors and Application Proof & PHIP.

2. Main menu Website content is now categorized into four sections (see the site map on Global Footer on P.12) which can be accessed via the main menu. In addition to “Listed Company Publications” and “Shareholding Disclosures”, two new sections are introduced, namely “New Listings” and “Exchange Reports”. These two sections contain information which are previously grouped under “Issuer-related Information”.

3. Listed company information Listed company information is accessible via the “Listed Company Information” tab on the homepage or the main menu item “Listed Company Publications”.

Via homepage

“Title Search” and “Content Search” for listed company information are now brought forward to the homepage.

a. Title Search

This is a search for published documents of companies currently listed on Main Board and GEM2.

Input numbers or alphabets in the Stock Code/Stock Name field to obtain predictive results of listed companies for your selection.

Click “View All” to browse the full list of matched results or click “x” to clear the input text or results list.

Select the headline category to search against Headline Category. Click the red arrow to view headline categories and their corresponding sub-categories for your selection.

b. Content Search

This is a free-text content search for listed issuers’ publications.

Input criteria to search for the required publications.

Via main menu

“Latest Listed Company Information”, “Advanced Search”, “Simple Search” and “Summary of Announcements” remain unchanged. They can be found under “Listed Company Publications” via the main menu. Simply click the selected item to either access the relevant search function or browse the latest published documents.

c. Summary of Announcements

“Summary of Announcements” together with “Simple Search” are now grouped under “Predefined Documents”3 which could be accessed from the main menu item “Listed Company Publications”.

These frequently requested issuers’ announcements (e.g. announcements regarding high concentration of shareholding, profit warning, etc.) are previously grouped under “Issuer-related Information”.

Mouse over the main menu item “Listed Company Publications”, click “Predefined Documents” and then “Summary of Announcements” to access these documents.

requested documents based on headline categories (e.g. Financial Statements/ESG Information, Results Announcements, Concentration of Shareholding, Profit Warning, etc).

4. Shareholding disclosures

Search functions regarding Disclosure of Interests, CCASS Shareholding and Stock Connect Shareholding remain unchanged except that additional entry point is provided on the homepage for accessing these functions. a. Disclosure of Interests

Click the link “Disclosure of Interests” on the search section of the homepage to access the search function.

Alternatively, mouse over the main menu item “Shareholding Disclosures” and click “Disclosure of Interests” to access the search function.

b. CCASS Shareholding

Click the tab “CCASS Shareholding” on the search section of the homepage to search for CCASS shareholding information.

Alternatively, mouse over the main menu item “Shareholding Disclosures” and click “CCASS Shareholding Search” to access the search function.

Continue with another search by inputting criteria on the search results page without going back to the landing page.

c. Stock Connect Shareholding

Click the link “Stock Connect Shareholding” on the homepage for direct access to the search function.

Alternatively, mouse over the main menu item “Shareholding Disclosures” and click “Stock Connect Shareholding Search” to access the search function.

5. New Listings

Information regarding new listings, such as listing announcements, progress report for new listing applications and Application Proof & PHIP, which previously grouped under “Issuer-related Information”, are now categorized under the main menu item “New Listings”.

a. Application Proof, PHIP and Related Materials

While the functionalities remain unchanged, this item is accessible from both the homepage and via the main menu.

Click the link “Application Proof & PHIP” on the homepage for direct access to this item.

Alternatively, mouse over the main menu item “New Listings” and click “Application Proof, PHIP and Related Materials” to access the function.

b. New Listing Information

Listing announcements, prospectuses, allotment results and downloadable reports which used to appear on several pages are now merged into one for direct access, thus bringing information upfront and reducing the number of clicks for quicker navigation.

Mouse over the main menu item “New Listings” and click “New Listing Information” for browsing relevant information.

Click the tab to change from Main Board to GEM or vice versa to view relevant information.

Select the year by clicking the red arrow and click the Download button to download the new listing report for a particular year. Tabs for Main Board and GEM are also available for selection inside the New Listing Report widget.

c. Progress Report for New Listing Applications

This webpage is brought forward and accessible via the main menu.

Mouse over the main menu item “New Listings” and click “Progress Report for New Listing Applications” for browsing relevant information.

6. Director’s Information

Additional entry point is provided on the homepage for accessing director’s information. At the same time, search function, download function and user notes which used to appear on several pages are now merged into one for direct access, thus bringing information upfront and reducing the number of clicks for quicker navigation.

Click the link “List of Directors” on the homepage under the Exchange Reports widget for accessing director’s information.

Alternatively, mouse over the main menu item “Exchange Reports” and click “List of Directors” for accessing director’s information.

Visitors can now search and download director’s information or refer to the user notes on the same page.

Input criteria to search for director’s information or click the Download Full List button to download a full list of directors in Excel format.

Continue with another search on the search results page without going back to the landing page.

Click the red arrow to expand and view details of the director, such as capacity, appointment date and resignation date, without leaving the results page.

7. Exchange Reports

An “Exchange Reports” widget is introduced on the homepage to house some frequently-visited reports such as Share Repurchases Reports, Board Meeting Notifications, Dividends and Other Entitlements. These reports together with others can also be found under the main menu item “Exchange Reports”.

Click the relevant link under the Exchange Reports widget on the homepage to access the selected report.

Alternatively, mouse over the main menu item “Exchange Reports” and click the relevant link for browsing the selected report.

8. Global header and footer

a. Global header

Apart from the HKEXnews website logo and language selection, links for document submission systems, font size selection and message display are introduced to the global header.

Click the relevant link or icon to select the document submission system or to change language or font size.

Click the HKEXnews website logo to go back to the website’s homepage.

b. Global footer

Global footer with items such as clickable site map, related websites and social media channels are introduced to the enhanced website.

Click the link for quick access to other sections of the website, social media channels, related websites and other miscellaneous items (e.g. website disclaimer, hyperlink policy, privacy policy, site search, etc).
