Dos Amigos opened in April 2010 with the goal of bringing freshflavour filled Mexican Food, Margaritas and Tequila to the beautiful Mission Bay.We use only the freshest local produce combined with importedproducts to recreate a real Mexican experience in New Zeland.

All dishes are made fresh. On a busy night, you might have to wait. Chef and his kitchen team always endeavour to serve as quickly as possible, but sometimes there are delays.

If you have a time constraint, eg. a movie to catch,please advise our wait staff before you order.

We are open from 11:30, until late 7 days a week.No Surcharge on Public Holidays.

Our pet Bearded Dragons, “ Dora”, “ Diego” and “Cancun” are availble meet and greet and photos only if the owner or a trained staff member is available to handle them.

The Dragons and handlers are often not availble during busy service or if it´s too cold for them to come out, and we prefer you meet them afteryour meal.

They are all Australian Bearded Dragons that were born in New Zealand.They prefer a warm climate (above 30 degrees) and they eat freshvegetables, bugs and crickets.

Dora and Diego are approx 5 years and Cancun 18 months in 2015.

We take bookings, phone 528 7494 to make a reservation.Please be on time, as we allow a maximum of 2 hours for a table,and sometimes your table may be re-booked.

You are welcome to move to the Cantina for a Margarita after your meal.We also can run an “Individual Account” system for large groups.

The Cantina is a great place for a finger food and drinks function, 21st,30th, 40th, Engagement Parties and other celebrations.
