One of the single most asked questions in the world of filmmaking is “How do I finance my film?” It’s an exciting time for filmmakers. Over the years, Short Film has grown by leaps and bounds. Ad-vanced technology has leveled the playing field and has opened up exciting, new distribution oppor-tunities as well. Along with theatrical releases, there are other distribution options available today including; VOD platforms, split rights deals, service deals and more. The last Academy Awards fea-tured three Short Film categories: Live Action Short, Animated Short and Documentary Short. With technology no longer being a significant barrier to entry and more distribution options than even, now is a perfect time to be involved in Short Film.

This panel will be hosted by LA Music Video Festival and Nancy Fulton Music and Film meetup. Writer/Producer Nancy Fulton supports 5000+ writers, producers, and performers in the LA Area through weekly meetups.
