Growing in God Jn 2:1-11 Jesus at the wedding in Cana, this began his ministry, Please read this beautiful story to your children.

Wish List CLASS ITEMS NEEDED

Student Column This area is dedicated to our First Communion students. The last page of their prayer test booklet asks a few ques-tions. One of them is: Why do you want to receive your First Communion? Some of the answers are your average answer, but others are deep, and still others so sweet. So I want to celebrate them here. Below are a few examples of what I get to read from some of our students: A.R. “I go to Mass every week

and I believe the Body and Blood of Christ is real. I want

to receive the Bread.”

C.R. “I believe the Body and Blood of Christ is real and I really want to make my First

Communion”

Lent is a beautiful season

The Lenten season will be here before any of us real-ize. Are you planning on celebrating this wonderful season by preparing for Je-sus death and resurrection? There are many online re-sources. There are many books. There are retreats also. We can also prepare quietly by setting aside a bit of time each day for some quiet re-flection. If this is of interest to you, please call Laura at the Faith Formation office and I will share some re-sources that I have with you. God Bless you.
