YOUTH GROUP PICNIC
We will be having a picnic commence our Youth Group on Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the rectory. All youth ages 13-18 are invited to attend. We’ll eat food, make s’mores and discuss what our youth group might do in the coming

Our Lady's Missionaries of the Eucharist Invite You To
Fatima Day
It will be July 13, 2017 from 6 PM - 8 PM. Father Harry McCreedy will lead the
July 13th celebration at Our Lady’s Missionaries of the Eucharist in Birdsboro, PA in Honor of Our
Lady of the Rosary of Fatima and in Reparation to Her Immaculate Heart. He is a prominent Fatima pilgrimage guide due to his special
devotion to Our Lady of Fatima. This event includes Adoration of the Most Blessed
Sacrament, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, Praying the Rosary, an Act of Consecration of Our Nation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
Eucharistic Benediction, and the Holy Sacrifice of Mass.

Somente crê
Hoje, são Marco nos apresenta uma avalancha de necessitados que se aproxima
a Jesus Salvador procurando consolo e saúde. Inclusive, aquele dia abriu-se passo
entre a multidão um homem chamado Jairo; o chefe da sinagoga, para implorar pela
saúde de sua filhinha: «Minha filhinha está nas últimas. Vem, impõe as mãos sobre ela para que fique curada e viva!» (Mc 5,23).
Quem sabe se aquele homem já não conhecia de vista a Jesus, de vê-lo frequentemente na sinagoga e, achando-se tão desesperado,
decidiu invocar sua ajuda. De todas as formas, Jesus captando a fé daquele pai
afligido acedeu à petição, só que enquanto se dirigia a sua casa chegou a notícia de que
a menina tinha morrido e que era inútil incomodá-lo: «Tua filha morreu. Por que ainda incomodas o mestre?» (Mc 5,35).
Jesus, dando-se conta da situação, pediu a
Jairo que não se deixara influir pelo ambiente pessimista, lhe dizendo: «Não
tenhas medo, somente crê» (Mc 5,36). Jesus lhe pediu aquele pai uma fé maior, capaz de ir além das dúvidas e do medo. Ao chegar à casa de Jairo, o Messias retornou a vida à menina com as palavras: «Talitá kum, que
quer dizer: ‘Menina, eu te digo, levanta-te’» (Mc 5,41).
Também nós deveríamos ter mais fé, aquela fé que não duvida diante das dificuldades e provas da vida e, que sabe madurar na dor através de nossa união com Cristo, tal como
nos sugere o papa Bento XVI, na sua encíclica Spe Salvi (Salvados pela esperança): «O que cura o homem não é esquivar o sofrimento e fugir diante a dor, senão a capacidade de aceitar a tribulação, madurar nela e, achar
nela um sentido mediante a união com Cristo, que sofreu com amor infinito».

PICNIC DEL GRUPO DE JOVENES
Tendremos un picnic para comenzar nuestro Grupo de Jóvenes el Jueves, 6 de julio del 2017 de
6:30 p.m. a 8:30 p.m. en la rectoría. Todos los jóvenes entre las edades de 13-18 años están
invitados a participar. Comeremos comida, haremos s’mores y hablaremos sobre lo que nuestro grupo de jóvenes hará en el próximo año. Favor
de venir y unirse a nosotros!
