By Thee, the only Living and True God;for there is no other God
but Thou, andnone that can equal Thy works. Let theirsouls rejoice
in Thy light, and imputenot to them their former iniquities,which
they committed through theviolence of passion, or the corrupt
habits of their fallen nature. For,although they haver sinned,
yet theyalways firmly believed in the father, Son,and Holy Ghost;
and before they died,they reconciled themselves to Thee bytrue
contrition and the Sacraments ofThy Church.
O Gracious Lord, we beseech Thee,remember not against them the
sins oftheir youth and their ignorances; butaccording to Thy great
mercy, bemindful of them in Thy heavenly glory.May the heavens be
opened to them,and the angels rejoice with them. Maythe Archangel
St. Michael conduct themto thee. May the holy Angels comeforth to
meet them, and carry them, tothe city of the heavenly Jerusalem.
MaySt. Peter, to whom Thou gave the keys tothe kingdom of heaven,
receive them.

May St. Paul, the vessel of election,stand by them. May St.
John, thebeloved disciple, who had therevelation of the secrets of
heaven,intercede for them. May all the holyApostles, who received
from Thee thepower of binding and loosing, pray forthem. May all
the Saints and elect ofgod, who in this world suffered torments
for Thy Name, befriend them; that,being freed from the prison
beneath,they may be admitted into the glories ofthat kingdom, where
with the Father andthe Holy Ghost Thou lives and reignsone God,
world without end.
Come to their assistance, all ye Saints ofGod; gain for them
deliverance fromtheir place of punishment; meet them,all ye Angels;
receive these holy souls,and present them before the Lord.
Eternal rest give to them, O Lord. Andmay perpetual light shine
on them. Maythey rest in peace. Amen.

Deliver me, O Lord, from eternal deathin that awful day: When
the heavensand the earth shall be moved. Whenyou shall come to
judge the world byfire. Dread and trembling have laid holdon me,
and I fear exceedingly because
of the judgement and the wrath tocome. When the heavens and the
earthshall be shaken. on that day, that day ofwrath, of sore
distress and of allwretchedness, that great and exceedingbitter
day. When you shall come to
judge the world by fire. Eternal restgrant to them, O Lord. And
letperpetual light shine upon them. maythey rest in peace.
