DESCRIPTION
Designed by the founders of Homeless Design with recycled things from the previous shop, following the philosophy that their online platform supports (www.homelessdesign.net) they use formwork and demolition wood to create the furniture. They search for decorations and small furniture in local stores and flea markets and restore found objects. The result is an elegant rustic place, carefully thought to seem unfinished.

Homeless Design cafe aims to be the first of many meeting points for design
lovers around the world. It is a coffee house with a showroom, where you
can find information about artisans to produce your next design. A physical
space to display ‘objects looking for a home’, pieces from designers of the
‘Homeless Family’.
An elegant but edgy space, carefully designed to seem unfinished. It is the
perfect place for hosting workshops, exhibitions, informal talks or business
cocktails.
Designers, trendsetters and
artsy people frequent its 90 squared
meter, located in downtown Madrid, in
the Lavapies district, near the famous
Reina Sofia Museum, circo PRICE and
La Casa Encendida. It is a friendly en-
vironment where you can chat with
friends, bring your laptop, have an in-
formal business meeting, have a glass
of wine after-work and be inspired to
design great things. We all work better
on a fullstomach.

Homeless Design Network (www.homelessdesign.net) is an interna-
tional project provides an online point of reference in promoting collabora-
tion between artisans and small producers with designers. They are bring
together to create a synergy, linking those who design an object and those
who have the hability to produce it. This iniciative includes promotion and
diffusion of designs through events, showrooms, workshops, competitions
and other marketing and communication actions.
Homeless Design Network aims to be a window displaying the talent,
creativity, ability and expertise of artisans and designers, giving visibility
to both groups. This collaboration allows the designer to fulfill his projects
thanks to the artisan and it increases revenues and market growth of the la-
tter.
This cute cafe was created by
the founders of Homeless Design with
recycled things from the previous
shop, following the philosophy that
their online platform supports (www.
homelessdesign.net). They used for-
mwork and demolition wood to create
the furniture. They searched for de-
corations and small furniture in local
stores and flea markets and restored
found objects. The result is an elegant
rustic place, carefully thought to seem
unfinished. It is made with love and
care as all the good things should be
done.
You will find a small showroom, a
physical space to display ‘objects loo-
king for a home’, pieces from desig-
ners of the ‘Homeless Design Family’.
The room has a notice board provided
with information of local artisan and
small producers. This way Homeless
Design gives visibility to the designs
and to the skilled hands that brings
them to live, promoting both design
and craftsmanship. Those designs and
others can be acquired on the website
online shop.
