Monro e Col d Weather Shelter's Night I n: A Walk I n Their Shoes $20 Per Child Did you know there are over 20,000 homeless people in Washington State? And families with children make over 50% of th is population? S ometi mes th ey are not always "visible" to us. Everyone has a s tory and some people need others to help share their s to ri es T ake a jour ney with us on a path that most of our homeless in Monroe take. We will be meeting at the Sky Valley Food Bank so you can see the wonderful services they provide and even pick out your meal for the night. Then we will walk to the library as a lot of our get resources, use the computer or even stay warm. After that we will walk to the C ol d We ather S helt er. F inal ly , we will set up our places to sleep and talk about what we experi enced a nd how we can s hare thi s night with others. In the morning we will have to leave at the same time as our guests normally do, even if it raining, or snowing - we can guarantee it is always cold Please jo in us for a fundraiser and awareness night. F rid ay, Oc tob er 23rd 5:00pm t o S aturday, Oc tob er 24t h 8:00am  A s this night is meant to be a fundraiser to k eep our shelter open w e strongly encourage the chi ldren attending to talk to their f riends and family about what they are doing, or afterw ards, w hat they experienced and tr y and raise some money to be donated along with their $20.
