MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

From the infancy of Christianity people traveled to spread the word of God. What a wonderful way

to spend your vacation following in their footsteps and visiting these undeniably historical places in

time. Let us take you to the Holy Land were it all began and trace Jesus’ life while on earth. Let us

help you retrace the footsteps of Apostle St. Paul who traveled throughout Ancient Greece,

Cyprus and Asia Minor. Imagine visiting the seven early churches in today’s modern day Turkey or

Jordan’s sites and their undeniable involvement in early Christianity. Let us take you to Egypt and

visit St. Catherine’s Monastery with its magnificent collection of manuscripts. Climb Mount Sinai

where Moses received the 10 Commandments which will undoubtedly strengthen your Christian faith.

Visit the site from which John the Baptist baptized Jesus. Cruise the various Greek Islands including

Patmos and view the Book of Revelations written by St. John the Apostle while he lived in exile in

Patmos. Tour the Vatican with its awe-inspiring St. Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel or

Medjugorje in Croatia where innocent children in today’s world were visited by the Virgin Mary many

times over. What a wonderful way to deepen your faith by visiting these significant biblical places

while also learning the culture and history of the area you choose to visit. Whether you are of Christian

Orthodox, Catholic, Protestant, Evangelical faith or any other form of Christian worship, the common

thread of Christianity bonds us all together. What a better way to combine not only your vacation but

also enhance your faith by visiting these timeless and very special places on earth.

Since 1969 Homeric Tours has set the industry standard by providing great vacations. Long

established as the leader to Greece, the Mediterranean and the Middle East we have expanded our

focus to offer the faith-based traveler itineraries that inspire and touch the Christian soul. You will

find our packages to be affordable with excellent services, centrally located accommodations but most

important, reliability in that Homeric Tours will seamlessly make sure that your experience is one that

offer you an experience that you will soon not forget.
