XPO™ Burner

Single digit NOx emission with 30% excess air no flue gas recirculation required

Simple, Efficient, Versatile

Benefits Summary

Typical Low NOx Burners

Single digit NOx emissions with High (50-70%) excess air and/or costly external flue gas recirculation

Low Fuel efficiency equals higher operation cost over traditional high emission burners

At mid-to-low-fire burners have to operate at even higher excess air.

Narrow operation range, outside of that range flame blows out or is NOISY!

Exotic materials (fiber, ceramic, FGR blowers)

Simple construction

Burner can operate reliablybetween 2% to 8% O2

Constant low excess air through the entire firing rate

Low excess air operation ensures minimal additional operating cost over current high emission burners

Efficiency and Emissions

Market Dynamics: The U.S. Low NOx emission requirements are creating a need for low

emissions burners. Efficiency concerns are making traditional Low NOx burners costly to

operate with questionable reliability.

XPO™ burner provides: Sub 10ppm NOx at 30% Excess Air, Sub 20ppm NOx at 15% Excess Air. Wide operation range, burner can be fired from 2 to 8% O2. Heat Flux up to 12,000 BTU per inch2

Up to 6 to 1 emission and thermal turndown. Tamper proof spark and pilot setup. Modular design, blast tube, gas manifold, burner housing, all can be oriented

independently. Large flame observation window Burner can be easily opened for seasonal inspection, or maintenance. Available in five sizes 1, 2, 3, 4.5, and 6 MBtu, can be over-fired up to 8MBtu
