    homeHoneywell solar water heaters work on thermosiphon principle, a highly trusted and

    efficient system of water heating. Based on phenomenon of natural convection, water

    stored in the collector heats up by solar energy, becomes lighter and rises naturally into

    the tank above. At the same time the cooler water in the tank flows down the pipe to

    bottom of the collector, and this circulation continues to occur naturally, resulting in

    overall temperature rise of water stored in the tank.

    technology advantageThe solar collector comprises evacuated

    tubes that are optimized in geometry and

    performance. These tubes are constructed

    from two concentric glass tubes, half

    spherically closed on one side & fused

    together on the other side; the gapbetween them is evacuated & afterwards

    hermetically plugged (vacuum insulation).

    The internal glass tube has a highly

    selective & eco friendly aluminum nitrite

    sputter layer on its external surface, that

    acts as an absorber, to effectively capture

    solar power.

    Pressurized System

    MPP Series for Hard Water

    Honeywell Pressurised Solar Water Heaters are suitable for

    bungalows, row houses and villas having hydro pneumatic water

    supply system.

    A high pressure withstanding capacity upto 5 bars make these

    systems ideal for high pressure water applications such as shower

    panels and Jacuzzis. Here heating occurs thorough a coil type heat

    exchanger inside the tank.

    These systems are ideal for areas having hard water supply with

    hardness above 400 ppm. The tanks are made of modified

    polypropylene that has a very high hardness withstanding capacity

    better than SS 316.

    The MPP systems can sustain hot water of hardness as high as

    2000 ppm without damage to tanks.

    centralized system

    Open Loop collector systems are ideal for large scale heating

    requirements such as in hotels, swimming pools and sports center,

    where hot water is required round-the-clock.

    This is an open loop system where heating occurs via natural

    circulation process through non pressurized collectors, transferring

    hot water to large storage tanks for further use

    Evacuated tube collector systems cater to commercial and industrial water

    heating requirements. These systems are ideal for high temperature water

    applications such as process heating, boiler feeds and restaurants.

    Heating occurs in a continuous copper loop with one time heat exchange.

    These are fully pre-mounted units comprising CPC (compound parabolic

    concentrated collector) reflector and evacuated tubes with an additional

    protection sheet for better performance .
