At this 14th Horasis meeting on China, senior executives from around theworld will discuss Chinese firms' growing impact on global business.Participants will also examine the state of the global economy and China’srole in shaping the new economic world.
With the Horasis China Meeting, Horasis has created a strong partnershipwith China. Introduced in 2005, the meeting has become one of the fore -most global business gatherings on China.
It is my sincere hope that the 2018 Horasis China Meeting will furtherpromote win-win economic relations, stimulate innovation and providebusiness opportunities for corporations from China and the world.

Welcome
It is a true pleasure and honour to welcome the first Horasis Meeting inUkraine, my native country. The Horasis China Meeting in October 2018 willserve as a springboard for further Horasis meetings of other countries tobe hosted by Ukraine.
Ukraine and China have a longstanding relationship. There is a great dealof opportunity to create value for citizens and economic growth for bothcountries. After a difficult period of last several years due to a multitudeof factors, Ukraine’s economy is now ready to hit high growth spur.Today, Ukraine represents one of the best potentials for return on capitalin the world.
The most undervalued asset of the country is the intellect of its people.Add on top of that there is highly diversified economic base, an abundanceof natural resources, manufacturing base, and geographic location thatresults into a great opportunity for practically any industry.
It is my hope that guests of Horasis China Meeting in Kyiv will be imbuedwith sympathy with Ukraine and its citizens. It is my belief that the passionof all Ukrainians for a better life will lead to an economic renaissance ofthe country.
