The Murdoch Method LLC was formed in 2003 by Wendy Murdoch. Wendy leads the fi eld in teaching riders how to use their bodies in order to achieve a higher level of performance with their horse. Wendy has been teaching rider awareness for over 18 years. In 2004 she published her fi rst book, Simplify Your Riding. She continually studies the human /equine connection in order to discover the fundamental principles of riding.
Her goal and the goal of the Murdoch Method is to make riding fundamentally simple by showing riders how to achieve what great riders do naturally. The Murdoch Method strives to offer educational opportunities to riders of all levels and disciplines, so that horse and rider can reach their full potential.

Nancy B. Harris, Susan’s mother, is an art teacher and artist, whose special talent is helping people fi nd their own unique way of expressing their vision and ideas. She attended Syracuse University School of Art and earned an external degree in Art Education and Art Therapy from Empire State University. Nancy teaches you to draw or paint your way, not her way, whatever your subject mat-ter. She can help beginners to develop the confi dence to draw, paint and learn through their art, and can also help more advanced artists fi nd new ways to see and approach their art work.
About Susan E. Harris
• Develop an “artist’s eye” for equine conformation, anatomy, movement and individuality, as you improve your knowledge through drawing horses.
• Clinic will include equine anatomy & movement, conformation & hands-on work in drawing & paint-ing horses.
• The Anatomy in Motion / Visible Horse demo
• Drawing & painting hors-es outdoors and in action.
Registration:Limited enrollment. A $300.00 deposit is required to
hold your space. Payment in full required by August 1, 2007. Once the course is full a wait list will
be created. Refunds only if your slot is fi lled.

About Nancy B. Harris
Susan E. Harris is an international clinician, and eques-trian author and artist from Cortland, New York. Her demonstrations, “Anatomy in Motion™: The Visible Horse”, in which she paints the bones and muscles on a live horse, and “Anatomy in Motion: The Visible Rider™” have been popular attractions at clinics and equine expos around the world. Her artist’s eye enables her to present her information in a unique visual way that is makes it easy to understand.
Susan Harris writes and illustrates her own horse books, including Horsemanship in Pictures, Horse Gaits, Balance, and Movement; Grooming to Win. Susan is a graduate of Syracuse University School of Art with a degree in Fine Arts, majoring in Illustration. She has drawn, painted and sculpted horses in all media and illustrates her own and other authors’ books on horses.
