    management Hospital is an establishment of temporary space to

    be occupied by the sick and injured , where they

    undergo appropriate treatment .

    Hospital management is a collaborative process

    that assesses, plans, implements, coordinates,

    monitors and evaluates the options and services

    required to meet an individuals health needs, using

    communication and available resources to promotequality, cost-effective outcomes in the hospital

    environment.

    Evolutionofhospitals

    in India

    Hospitals have known to exist from the time

    of Buddha(6th century).

    The most magnificent of them were at the

    time of king Ashoka having labor rooms andchildren wards as first priority.

    Later in 16th century allopathic medicines

    were introduced .

    The first scientifically developed hospital was

    built by the British at Madras , 1664.
