Monday – Oct. 8Depart the USA ready for your trip of a lifetime! Meals served inflight.

Tuesday – Oct. 9Today you will arrive in Tel Aviv. Your tour guide will meet you at theairport and transfer you to your deluxe hotel in Jerusalem, whereyou’ll enjoy a fantastic dinner and overnight.

Wednesday – Oct. 10Today’s touring begins by standing on the Temple Mount, whichwas once the site of the Temple of Solomon, now home to theDome of the Rock. View the Pools of Bethesda (John 5) where Jesusperformed the Sabbath day miracle. Continue on to Mt. Zion to visitthe House of the High Priest Caiaphas, where some say Jesus wasquestioned on the night of His betrayal (Matt 26). View thetraditional site of the Tomb of King David before returning to yourhotel for dinner and overnight.

Thursday – Oct. 11Learn about the Jerusalem of Jesus’ day with a look at the FirstCentury Model City of Jerusalem, now housed at the Israel Museum.The museum itself contains 10,000 yrs of archeological artifacts, aswell as the Shrine of the Book exhibit that displays the Dead SeaScroll containing the book of Isaiah. Explore the poignant exhibitsof Yad Vashem, Israel’s Holocaust Memorial. Enjoy your lunchbefore heading on to the see the archaeological study being doneat Emek Tzurim, where excavations from under the Temple Mountare being studied.

Friday – Oct. 12Today you will stand on the Mt. of Olives, where you will have aremarkable view of the “Golden City” of Jerusalem. This is the lastplace Jesus stood before ascending into heaven. Take a moment topray in the Garden of Gethsemane, where trees have been datedback over 2,000 years. Consider the idea that those trees witnessedthe blood‐sweat and betrayal of our Lord. Pause at the CrusaderChurch that is thought to mark the Tomb of Mary at the base of theMt. of Olives. End your day of touring by spending time at theGarden Tomb and Gordon’s Calvary. Consider the pain and sufferingof the cross with Holy Communion at this traditional site.

Saturday – Oct. 13This morning, go through the Dung Gate, walk a section of the OldCity Wall Ramparts finding a beautiful elevated view of the city. Exitthrough the Jaffa gate before visiting the Jewish quarter andenjoying lunch in the Armenian quarter of Jerusalem. After lunch,reflect on Christ’s sacrificial love during your visit to the Church ofthe Holy Sepulcher. Built over the traditional sites of the crucifixionand burial of Jesus, the church operates under both Catholic andOrthodox supervision. Visit the Christ Church Museum exploring thehistory and impact of the Protestant movement in the Holy Land,then wander through the excavations of the City of David andjourney through time to see the Pool of Siloam. (John 9)

Sunday – Oct. 14Begin your journey towards Tiberias today. As you stop in Jericho,view the ruins of the city conquered by Joshua (Joshua 6) and in thedistance see the traditional site of the temptation of Jesus (Matt4). Follow the Good Samaritan Road through the Jordan River Valleyon your journey north. Stop in to visit the Balm of Gilead farm –enjoying the aroma and wonder of the incredible Balm of Gilead.Remember your baptism at the Yardenit Baptismal site, where theJordan River exits the Sea of Galilee before checking in to your hotelfor dinner and overnight.

Monday – Oct. 15Travel to Capernaum, the center of Jesus’ ministry in the Galilee.Visit the synagogue that stands on the site where Jesus taught. Visitthe peaceful Mt. of Beatitudes that overlooks the Sea of Galilee. Onthis hill, Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount. (Matt 5‐7) Enjoya “St. Peters Fish Lunch” before boarding your boat for a uniquetime of worship and reflection on the Sea of Galilee. Finish your dayof touring today by visiting the Ancient Boat Museum, where youwill see a boat that dates back to the time of Jesus.

Tuesday – Oct. 16Visit the Northern territory of Israel today, seeing the ancientremains of Tel Dan and the altar built by King Jeroboam (I Kings 12).Visit Caesarea Philippi, where Jesus traveled with his disciples andwhere nearby Peter made his great confession to Jesus, “Thou artthe Christ, the Son of the living God” (Matt 16). Travel through GolanHeights and gain a better understanding of their strategicimportance to the security of Israel.

Wednesday‐ Oct. 17Today you will journey to the top of Mt. Carmel, where Elijah the prophetprayed fire down from heaven and defeated the prophets of Baal (I Kings18). Travel the ancient caravan route to Tel Megiddo, an excitingarcheological dig with its layers of 20 different cities built on top of eachother. Drive through Biblical Joppa, now the port city of Jaffa en route toCaesarea Maritima. Here you will wander through the Roman aqueductand theater, a center of early Christianity. Here, Cornelius became the firstGentile convert to the new covenant (Acts 10) and Paul was imprisonedbefore being taken to Rome (Acts 23). Enjoy dinner and overnight in theTel Aviv Area.
