Around The World in Fifty Years 3D (WT)Releases: end 2010 / early 2011 // Format: 2D + 3D // Length: 85 minsProducer: nWave PicturesDistributor: nWave DistributionContact: Goedele Gillis, [email protected]

Around The World in Fifty Years is the story of a sea turtle from hatchling to maturity. Only 1 in 1000 turtles makes it to adulthood. But for Sammy, our main character, the odds seem even worse. About half the size of the other hatchlings, he can barely make it out of his nest alone. It takes a sea turtle 30 to 50 years to reach maturity at which point they return to the beach where they were born to reproduce. Full of humor, this epic journey starts in 1959 and ends today. Sammy spends the first 10 years of his life drifting on the ocean currents with his friend Ray. Hurt in a fishing incident, he is picked up by a little boy and spends several months as the mascot of a hippie commune on some beach in California. He then decides to travel around the world looking for a girlfriend from his childhood years. Filled with twist and turns, action and drama, the story also has a strong underlining message about our planet and the need to protect our environment.

Quantum Quest: A Cassini Space Odyssey (FT)Releases: June 2010 // Format: 2D + 3D // Length: 50 minsProducers: Jupiter 9 Productions and DigimaxDistributor: Jupiter 9 ProductionsContact: Harry Kloor, [email protected]

Quantum Quest is designed to combat the flood of DMR films that have seized much of the giant screen market share, and which have little or no educational value whatsoever. With an all-star cast and Hollywood approach to storytelling, Quantum Quest seeks to draw in all those kids and adults who are fearful or uninterested in science or space exploration. On its surface, Quantum Quest is a sci-fi action film set in a scientifically accurate rendering of our solar system in 3D stereoscopic. Visually, the film blends computer animation with the fantastic images captured during recent NASA and NASA/ESA space explorations, including the international Cassini Huygens mission. The audience is taken on a simulated solar safari, exploring the inner planets between the Sun and Saturn, and touring the Saturn system’s rings and moons. The film concludes with a Grand Canyon-like flight over the surface of Titan, using image and radar data from Huygens and Cassini spacecraft.
